Jay,
You rambled on a bit there mate, but I agree with every single word and sentiment. City and Chelsea have ruined our game and now the fans whinge cos they cannot pay category C prices anymore. Our clubs have had to pay through the nose for decades at away games and I cant remember anyone complaining.

Jay,
Forgot to mention, As well as your proposals the toohless 'fit and proper person committee has to also grow some and prevent owners that DONT have the money from buying cliubs and transferring the debt to the club, thus hamstringing it for years and years to come. You either have the money to buy or you dont it really is as simple as that! Once bought, those clubs then need to be run prudently on mainly generated income. The bleating of rich owners must be ignored and financial rules enforced if not adopted voluntarily.
Cheers, Dakey

Heard of the show Fear Factor??
This the premiership so called elite, Swamps, Arsenil, Tottingham and Scouse version of making sure that they are never challenged and that they keep what they have.
This ensures that the above vermin have the most cash to spend every season and the rest wil just have to watch.
The swamps will be taking out of this equation all there money in sponsorships and sales outside of europe will they? Thought Not
The rest of the league clubs dont care because they realise they can never compete and can never get into europe so it doesn't affect them hence they will follow the 4 liars.
If anyone thinks that the 4 liars are doing this for the good of english football then you are sadly mistaken and need to follow the rest of the sheep and lemmings off the cliff.
If they get what they want then the majority of the Premiership will suffer with the "smaller" clubs (no offence to them) will have even less chance to win any domestic trophies whilst the 4 liars will flourish with no competition.
This will hand the tilte to the Swampies for the foreseeable future

Chaddy,
Dress it up all you like mate, We have no objection to you or anyone else legitimately joining the big league, all of us have come from modest beginnings, BUT..... build your club up properly like we all have and that includes attracting legitimate sponsorship from anywhere. Either stop ruining football or you will be forced into line. One way or another you will have to operate at your correct level again.

Well, the properly run clubs march on in the FA Cup, but what a fiasco down at the Bridge and its absolutely brilliant to watch. Pep has turned down mega money from both Chelsea and City and chose to continue his sabatical for another 3 years in the back waters of Germany to give Fergie a chance to end his reign at O/T with more glory. It is obvious to anyone with two connecting brain cells that he is in line for the Utd job, but not just yet.
The question now is where does the Russian turn to next. No one of any note or moral compass will touch that job with a 10 foot barge pole, so he has two choices, stick with Rafa (please!) or pack up his money and desert the sinking ship. Either way, Chelsea have shot their bolt and are finished. 13 points off the pace and 5,000 below capacity for a league game. Its back to the mediocrity of mid table for them or even worse and do you know something else, City who have adopted exactly the same model will not be far behind and that is before the financial fair play rules kick in. There is a God after all and he wears Red.
I might be slightly premature and I recognise that you need a lot of luck both on the park and with injuries to key men, but...... there is a definate whiff of treble in the air again!

You are right mate; there's definitely a whiff!!!!! It's coming from you I'm afraid this time. What makes you think that Pep Guardiola is the man for UTD or indeed what makes you think that he's even an excellent manager. I thought you knew a bit more about football than that but obviously you too have been taken in by all the hype.
Guardiola has done very very well with a team that is probably the best club side ever assembled. The thing is mate he never assembled them and he walked into a situation that it would of been hard to mess up even for Rafa!!!! 14 Pots in his time is no mean feat and two champs leagues is right up there but how much of it is actually down to him is very debatable. I f you actually look at the signings under his reign and I should know!!!! They certainly have not set the world on fire and he's relied heavily on the triad of Messi Iniesta and Xavi who without them would have had a massive bearing on all their achievements. He's had to move on a lot of players he personally brought in so becareful what you wish for!
If you were preferring him to Mourinhno then I think that would be foolish. As much as I can't stand the man his record far surpasses that of Pep's. I would be much more concerned if he ended up at your gaff rather than anyone else because he's done it in every country and built teams up himself all beit with hiddeous amounts of cash backing him. (Better have a would with your Yanks if you go him though!!)
I think Pep snubbed Chelski for the behaviour of their megla/ego manic owner. The guy has a certain class and obviously some dignity and that must of come a huge kick in the Balls for the chavs. Who'd seriously would want to work for that Russian crook unless it was for the money. Timing was absolutely perfect as well wednesday pm just before their league game. Hahahaha!
As for Bayern Munich they are a true Europaen Super Club with a good pedigree so his choice is understandable, he'll probably do well there but I certainly will wait and see how he does because La Liga and other such leagues are very different to the bundesleague and the premiership. How many managers have we seen come in with massive reps and not succseed??
Come on you Gooners Let's take it to the bridge and let's give it to them bang on 16!!!!
Ps give the Scumbags a slap for us!!
You get me LOL

Jay,
It doesnt matter who bought who or who built what, a manager has a squad of players and he has to put them out on the park and decide tactics etc, so to say PEP had no input into the Barca success story is an incredible insult to the man. The next three years, however will be the real test of him as a manager although he is again inheriting a finished product with Bayern walking the league. That may be his Forte and good fortune as if he does take over from Sir Alex he will again be taking over the dominant team in our league as well.
My thought were provoked by the interview he gave saying he wanted to manage in England, then snubbed a mega offer from one of our top clubs to move to Munich for three years, which will probably coincide with Fergies retirement. He could go to City, but that would be the same as Chelsea so he might as well have took the Chelsea offer. No, it all points to O/T in three years, but that will depend on his performance with Bayern. I like Jose and would welcome him but I think he is two confrontational for Utds hierachy to accept.
On the football front, I see the bitters are touting Balotelli at 24 million quid... What!! that is more ridiculous than the money they were asking for that other serial bench warmer Tevez. Who would pay more than a couple of million for either of those two disrupting influences?
At your own club Jay and speaking of benchwarmers, Arsen is now so desperate to ensure he doesnt let another player leave at the end of a contract he offers Wallcott a mega deal that bears no resemblence to his performance levels. Despite his obvious abilities he is still very inconsistant and has not earned a leap into mega stardom status, but that is football nowadays thanks to Chelsea and City ruining the game for everybody else, both clubs and supporters alike.
Cheers, Dakey

Quite happy winning the league thanks Dakey!
The only ruin is the empty trophy cabinet at The Swamp from last season, we can only go off that as it is the most recent..
You are far from dominant as you have won sweet FA for a season and a half LMFAO
Like I said before your running scared hence why you want the Uefa change to try and keep your head near the top of the pile!
Slip sliding away is a song coming to me!! LOL

Walcott is a player worth keeping but I totally agree he's inconsistency does no where near merit a 100k a week. It's only Citeh and Chelski's despicable financial backing that's caused this. It's all so wrong.....I despair. Jay

Chaddy,
To quote Mancini " The poject is on course, we have won 3 trophies in two years" That was after your inglorious exit at yet another CL group stage. Now I assume that one of those trophies he was refering to was this seasons Community Shield. I seem to remember spanking you in last years Shield as part of our total dominance over you in cup football last year. So by your own managers logic and although it was not one of our most fruitful campaigns, we were not trophy less last year and we definately wont be this year!!

Ole Purple Face was having a good moan after their game as well, looks like his bum is squeaking earlier this season.
What trophy did the swamp dwellers win last year? I'm struggling to find that one in my ''all time stats starting in 1993'' book.

Shampers,
So selective - look at the last 20 years and see what you've won in comparison to us - FA.
Spurs played well yesterday as did we and a draw was a fair result - big enough to admit that.
At least we didn't have that knob Atkinson in charge. He's obviously now on the Abramovich wage bill as well. An absolute shocker - how many times can he screw up and still stay on the refs list? It makes a mockery of the game. Felt for Arsenal who deserved a draw. Chelsea still look fragile - don't sack Rafa 'cos he's taking you in the right direction!

So thats what it feels like to concede a goal in Fergie time, its supposed to go to us though! Still I suppose Rooney not getting the stonewall pen decision means the ABU " Utd get everything off refs" brigade may shut up for a week or so eh. Other than that cannot complain as Spurs deserved a point. In the big picture a point there and especially in those conditions is a point gained without doubt.
Shampers, you will find the Community Shield Trophy listed in the Gerard Houlier/Roberto Mancini book of personal achievements. It is easy to find, just open the book and there it is......it is a one page volume.
