Are you deliberately trying to be no bedded?

There is no thought that he left play. Once he has been offside! Which he obviously was, he then has to get back on side without affecting play in any way or he will be deemed off side I. E. sorry ref and arms up

He never did. !!!!!!!!

Dave,

Part of your post below,

"How could the mexi peanut ever be on side after going off the pitch"?????????????????????????????? Once he re-enters play, he can have no involvement in the play without remaining offside. He must wait until another phase of play."

I think there is more than enough mention there of him leaving the pitch, are you developing dementia?

Let me try again,

Chicos momentum took him off the pitch after chasing the ball with two defenders and the keeper, at no time was he offside during that chase. The defenders and Chico then turned and tried to get into position and when the shot from Raphael came to him the two defenders and the keeper were goal side, that is what the linesman seen and with the benefit of super slow mo it was established that although he was unsighted it was marginally offside and he missed it. What is all this crap about leaving play and second phases etc? it was live action and we got the benefit of a marginal decison for once. Get over it, it doesnt happen often!

Dave,

Once more, He wasnt offside in the original move and he wasnt offside when he turned the ball in. The fleeting moment he was offside coming back from off the pitch the linesman missed so he can touch the ball as much as he likes as the men that matter, the officials, have deemed that he is and was ONSIDE! end of!!

Oh the irony from Chelski... Throwing money at the oppositions players now as well as their own team. A club supporting and still lead by a proven racist claiming that they are the victims (never their fault). Buying a known diver but complaining when he's caught out. Complaining about some decisions but not the ones that went their way that would have seen them reduced to 8 or 7 men. Alleging the ref used inappropriate language but allowing their players to spit, curse and swear every week (like most clubs to be fair). The list goes on....

Double standards. All smoke and mirrors my friends. You reap what you sow and get what you deserve. They really are the most obnoxious of clubs.

Can't wait to hear the evidence against the Clattenburg. If he has done wrong he should be dealt with otherwise get on with it. I wonder if he'll manage to get his hearing postponed for a year and be able to carry on officiating and then claim he was only repeating words said to him to confirm what was said? Durr.

If it wasn't so pathetic it would be hilarious.

Kev,

Thank the lord for your contribution! a bit of sense at last. I was beginning to feel like Jack Nicholson in one flew over the cuckoos nest, I was almost throwing the water dispenser through the window! I think Daves losing the plot big style, it must be through sitting in his half empty stand at the Etihad looking round at the vast empty spaces and the dross being served up on the field and  wondering to himself "where has it gone to rat shit, it wasnt meant to be like this"!

Dakey,

Scientists have discovered a new test for agoraphobia. Apparently, suspected sufferers are given a season ticket for the Etihad. If they manage to sit through hours of wide open spaces they are considered not to have a problem. The issue is that the side effects are terrible - having to watch a pile of sh*te do nothing every week.

Are City and Chelsea in some sort of challenge to see which club can sink to the lowest in the eyes of all sane minded people? Any time now Brian Rix will appear and drop his trousers!

Dave,

You just leave our gooner friends out of our debates, like Utd they are a shining example of how to run a football club, play good football and still compete at the top end of the spectrum without splashing money they dont have around like confetti. In my humble opinion the sooner they put some long awaited siverware back on the shelf the better football will be for it.

Dave,

I know its tough at the top and your under performing team together with the stay away fans are upsetting you and stressing you out, but this midweek is Capitol Cup week, so just sit back, kick off your shoes and just enjoy watching your up and coming next generation of players burst with pride when pulling on the shirt of your beloved team.......... Whoops sorry, you havnt got any up and coming players never mind any with pride in the club....... Whoops sorry again, you are no longer in it are you? stuffed by everyones whipping boys Villa! Never mind, the players and staff can all sit down and play Monopoly with the owners real money.

Well, what a fabulous game of football that was and deservedly nicked by our fellow " Reds run it right and ethically" society members.

It gould be anything on saturday with both teams struggling to defend, but with a commendable attitude of "you score as many as you like because we will get more"

Chaddy, no one predicted you would be so shite this year as you had not really ever won anything so no one knew what to expect. We all know what to expect when the red machine dont win anything one year, yes you have guessed it... A glut of silverware! We all know its coming, just accept it, it will then be less painful.

I'm totally knackered after that!!!

How can one team be so totally different in the space of an hour.

Reading well and truly caught us from the off and fair play to them but we were awful and so lacking heart and then ...........God only knows what happened because I certainly don't.

Too stunned (not sure I'm happy sad sane or mad) going to bed now.

Can't think about it no more.

Great stuff and very entertaining. Thanks for pushing Chelski's antics off the back pages. Nice to get back to a bit of football!

Fellas,

Isnt it both comforting and reassuring that despite the fact that both FA and Police enquiries are underway into the alleged comments by Mr Clattenberg, Chelsea have decided to hold their own comprehensive enquiry and have deemed that there is no evidence to show that Mata had been abused, but on the other hand they have irrefutable reliable evidence to support the case against John Obi Mikel so they have lodged an official complaint to the FA.... In fact Ashley Cole said he clearly heard the insult and would be prepared to testify under oath in a court of law if required!

Chaddy mate honestly what did crapenburg do wrong?

I thought his performance on Sunday was ok and certainly not a performance that he needs to be vilified for.

Would love to know what the full accusation is though.
