Hope the Welsh can face the All Blacks in the egg game. New Zealand and the world cup was awesome

Hi Dave,
Hope you are enjoying your stay on the other side of the world, although it is a bit extreme going all that way to try and avoid the shame of the things going on at your godforsaken club. I am at home recuperating from my knee operation and subsequent fall down the back steps, but I am on the mend and return to work next week. I dont know where you have got the impression I am on Condado, but I would love to have been there for the Condado Club opening this week, hope it goes and continues well.
Looking forward to the league starting again this weekend and we will soon be locking horns again, no doubt.
Cheers, Dakey

Tonight may be one of the few times spain have a home game with more travelling support than home support. Alicante full of scots enjoying the sun but i think theyll get a tonking! Should be a great atmosphere though. Game on!

Well Fellas,
Here we go again and we are in for a real toughie this weekend at anfield and I would take a draw now if it were offered. If the comedy show bitters dont go top this weekend, they never will. Villa will make it hard with so many ex blues on their trip to the theatre of spacial awareness, but I can only see a city win so its a big big ask for us to beat a pumped up liverpool away from home....... but you never know!
Cheers, Dakey

Flipping 'eck, Is the great one finally losing his marbles? He comes on TV to say that Liverpool v Man Utd is the biggest game in the world in his opinion, then proceeds to put out what amounts to a Carling Cup team! Whether you are looking at the bigger picture or the smaller picture, I will never fathom out his thinking on that selection and with Ryan Giggs fairy twirl out of the way of a half hit shot almost costing us dear, we were lucky to get away with it.
Still, when we inevitably smarten up the bitters next week, Fergie will say it was the master plan to play liverpool and City and still be top at the end of it so who am I to argue with the old master.
My old mate Dave was seen at the walk in centre in moston last night with nose bleeds!
Cheers, Dakey

Hey Dakey,
You got what you predicted - Liverpool v Utd draw and a convincing City win - Looking forward to next week despite having to watch the game from the Stretford end!
Here's to another City victory

Blues coming out ofthe woodwork from everywhere! dont mean to burst your little bubble fellas, but you have not actually played anyone yet of note. The only top team you have played is Spurs and they were struggling for a team at that time. Now, when, not if, we sort you out next week we will be unbeaten at the top having played ALL the major contenders. That tells me that after having had the most difficult start of any team, then we must have a relatively easier run in at the business end later. In fact, the only decent teams City have met have been in the CL...... whoops and look what happened there!

Dave,
What is easy mate is saying that if you had played Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool as well as Spurs like we have, then it would be a racing certainty you would not be top or anywhere near. Anyway, looking forward to the weekend, who would have thought that before the end of October we would have beaten you twice comfortably already!
Cheers, Dakey

Arsenal at the moment mate ???? Spurs ? Liverpool?? Your point is??? You play each team as the season goes on. You have not played stronger teams at this unknown stage. You have played a couple of pitiful ones!!!
Just continue to put 4 past everyone your playing.... Oh wait a minute, your not though.
Will you be able to hobble down to the pub on Sunday for your easy three pointer

Hey - there's some other games before our little get together at the weekend. I'm over at Condado at the moment for half term week so will give the Condado club a first try tonight to see Utd get our CL campaign back on track and City end their participation in the campaign nice and early. At least they'll be able to focus on more of their Keystone Cops routines. Wonder if Mancini will be able to get 11 out on the pitch?

Watched the highlights of that fiasco last night at the half empty theatre of spacial awareness. I think you will hold on to the Europa league place now Dave as long as you dont lose to them in Spain. One thing I will say though is did you notice the wild celebrations at the winner? Among it all Brian Kidd gave Mancini an emotional bear hug...... Watch out, the last time he did that to Sir Alex he was in Martin Edwards office the next day sticking the knife in Fergies back. A leopard never ever changes its spots and that man cannot be trusted!!

Dakey,
Again objective achieved, a win is a win - can't remember UTD scoring any injury time goals though as they are usually scored way after that!! Not sure how your half empty comment stacks up as I was at the game last night and the official attendance was 45,000!!
The future is Blue - roll on Sunday

Tony,
I enjoy this argument with my mate City Dave Roy, so I suppose you are welcome to join in. 45,000 in a Stadium that holds nearly 49,000 is practically half empty to me. First time in the CL ever and still you cannot fill the Stadium, You very rarely fill it for league games, only a couple of times a year when a big club rolls up and you never ever get anywhere near for domestic cup games. i.e 27,000 last year for a FA Cup quarter final replay ( at around the same time that we were getting 73,000 against non league Crawley Town!). The fact is that although some of you are very passionate about your little club there are not nearly enough of you to maintain a position at the top table without your rich deluded benefactor. Still, all things considered, it is enjoyable having you up there contending, it makes it all the more pleasurable when we put you in your place.
Cheers, Dakey

Dakey,
Managed to watch the first half of the games at the Condado Club on Tuesday night. Interestingly City were on one screen and Utd on the other and my good lady commented on the fact that no-one seemed to be watching one of the screens (although they must have been cos the Spanish bar tender cracked up after the first few minutes!). Left at half time because some plonker was out of his skull and swearing like it was going out of fashion getting on our nerves. He wasn't watching the games nor a football fan by the look of him (though that could mean he was a City follower!). Saw the rest of the games elsewhere and was interested in Mancini-time - scoring in the third minute of two minutes injury time (never seen that before!). Home tomorow night but looking forward to Sunday...

Hey Dakey
I guess at present and with a stadium holding only 49,000 (47,000) in Europe and with the away fans bringing 20 fans there is not much more can be done. No competition yet with the global brand and a stadium holding over 70k but the future is Blue and Rome was not built in a day - money does not buy a team but it surely helps, you should know even though you spent it over time and we are merely playing catch up.
Well done for getting your 73,000 against Crawley (they were even flying in from the china shop on Camposol for that one)
I am quite happy with our "little club" although I am not liking these glory hunting foreigners who have now started turning up on the stadium tours and at the club shop
Love the banter, keep it up
Tony
