Got to agree with you mate, its all great fun and I love it. I hope I can keep my sense of humour if my team ever plummets the depths like a lot of you lads this year. Friendly banter never harmed anyone, so lets keep it going. One thing I would ask though, try and sprinkle a few facts into your posts now and again lads, it feels like I am being bombarded verbally by a gang of Dave Roy clones, good job Kev chips in with regular doses of reality just to help me out.

Well done mate, that table, with Utd in third, spurs in second and Chelsea top shows that you can still play your football at the business end, be competitive and still do it fairly.
Butterflys kicking in a bit now, lot to do today, bit of shopping, gardening, sex and watching football.... I'll manage to get one of those in, no prizes for guessing which one!

Fantastic game last night between the two best teams in Europe and probably the world. Congratulations Barcelona - we may be the best of the rest but they are on a different level. I thought we defended well and made just a couple of mistakes which were clinically punished. When we could get the ball we played well and scored a good goal out of the few chances we made - but we couldn't get enough of the ball ! Before the game I wanted Utd to at least test Barca to see if they were as good as they and others thought - we did and they are. They even played at a higher level than I've seen them play before. I don't really feel disappointed because the disappointment is outweighed by my admiration of a team that play the right way and have a fantastic team and club ethic.
Now we have to brush ourselves down, work to get up to another level ourselves and look forward to next season ! A nice break and then bring it on !

Did you see our new banner with 19 on it, I think that was for the number of touches of the ball Barca allowed us, They are vulnerable at the back, but the holding and offensive midfielders are that good you cant get and keep enough of the ball to put pressure on the back four. As the curtain comes down on the season, we may have the best and most exciting league in europe, but we certainly have not got the best team. To finish the second best team behind them is no disgrace and they did give us the ball long enough for us to score the best goal of the game with our only shot. So the summary is that while we are light years ahead in England we still have a bit to do to be the best in europe and it will be twice as difficult for the rest to make up that ground, so a nice rest is welcome then we all have work to do before August is upon us again.

No surprise there then, you wouldnt recognise a CL final if it smacked you in the face. You have had two managers now who have won it with other clubs but in your own little world they were not good enough for your club. Can you explain that to me as I am baffled. By what twisted logic are champions league winning managers not good enough for Chelsea, because for the life of me I cant fathom it out.

I dont recall you beating them, like we did in 2008. Arsenal have beaten them but got mullered over two legs. We are the only English team to actually beat them and knock them out over two legs without conceding a goal. Also, I dont understand the term rolling over, give me a clue, is that what you did 4 times this year against us? including 3 in a month.

Think you're all forgettin us blue boys winning at the nou camp. Dakey don"t delude yourself about being second best, Madrid would have wellied you too, just like lots of others at the end of the season
