We were good but have been awful until the last two weeks down to injuries and a lack leadership in the transfer markets both last summer and in January so can blame no one else. Not good enough is not good enough simples. I don't think anyone really deserves it this year we have all been inconsistent at the same various points throughout the season. Last year rip bailed you out of countless games and won you the points almost singlehanded and I warned you then you were getting away with it and this yeAr proved that statement to be 100% correct. You now need 8 players to make you good again. Good luck with that!!!! This season the top four have slightly raised their games but not massively and there's room for improvement at all four clubs. Only you could argue that the chavs did well getting to the semi final of the CL but they had to play 19th century bus parking anti-football to do that so is it really an improvement....I think not. Scousers had to avoid to Europa league to give themselves an chance but the chavs and palace showed up their weakness and citeh will win by default. But in honesty as said a couple of days ago if they didn't win the league with the money that they spend it would have to be the worst ever result in football history. Just hope they do coz can't think of anything worse than jose's anti football brigade doing it. I see major problems long term at utd Dakey and I ain't saying it to poke you or Kev. Massive season and summer ahead at O T and even with major surgery and a new boss getting it to click in all at once will be the test. I certainly don't envisage you lot in CL positions next season. Time for change at our place whatever happens at Wembley. Jay

Dakey,
You can no way take the moral highground here.
You're lot appear to have thrown most games this season, because they didn't fancy working hard under the new manager. Have they really given 100 % all season.
You're now stuck on some romantic notion of the class of 92.
You're current manager has superb integrity, if you can forget the fact he has been shagging his brothers wife for years. One small flaw in a great man eh !
Laughable.

What a comeback by the Mighty Palace! Hubby was in his element, especially as he generously gave up this ticket to help a friend out who had promised two Liverpool supporters their tickets! Can you imagine what it was like for them sitting in the Holmesdale end with all the palace fans lol! I have never seen my husband so animated!

Mark,
I am not taking any type of ground, we have had a nightmare shite season and I am open to the stick we rightly are receiving. That however, doesnt stop me having an opinion on other things and other teams and I will carry on voicing that opinion as and when I see fit. There are a few skeletons in the cupboards to rival Giggs, like John Terry and also Steven Gerrard and his 5 mates who battered a man to a pulp in a Southport night club that 5 of them were convicted for and some served time for it. Gerrard on the other hand was the only one to be found not guilty because someone decided that although the incident happened in Southport that it would be appropriate to try the Liverpool captain at Liverpool crown court. I could go on and on about misdemeanors but it is more entertaining to just slate Giggsy for you ABUs so charge on.

Lynne,
Palace came to Goodison and deservedly turned Everton over. Pulis has done really well
Rodgers last night was unbelievable. He had 3 points in the bag, the pressure was back on City. LFC are never going to turn the G.D. over in 2 matches, but rather then close his dodgy defence off and keep the 3 points and therefore put Agger on for Sturidge or Stirling he brings on Coutinho and Moses. He reaps what he sows.
Dakey,
Saturday wasn't Evertons problem. Very difficult to get behind them 100% when an Everton win would have put LFC back in the driving seat. The players picked up on a very unusual atmosphere. Liverpool had the title in the bag 2 weeks ago and bottled it. Comments about Gerard agree totally.
Whats this drivel about Martinez for Spurs ? Why would he ? Is Levy employer of the year ?

Let's all forget all our troubles and take time out to have a damn good laugh at the scousers. Jeez, it's looked like City, Arsenal and Chelsea have all not wanted to win it this season but the scousers seemed to think the season finished a couple of weeks ago!
PS Gerrard's got a new book out but as yet its not got a title.

Palace decided not to water the pitch after the game last night. Gerrard and Suarez did it for them immediately after the game.
Mark - wouldn't poke fun at the Toffees. It's good to see another well run club join Utd and Arsenal fighting against the money men.

Well,
Today is a watershed in the history of our coveted PL. For the first time a team found guilty of cheating their way to the top by Eufa stands on the cusp of taking control of the title race. We should all collectively hang our heads in shame for allowing that situation to come to pass. We now have no credibility in the eyes of the football world and the death of our game is imminent if we dont do something about it.

Lads
season all over and the highlight is Dakey is still around with his words of wisdom....lol !!!!!!!!
Lets face it
Arsenal -- failed inconsistant rubbish at time but lets hope a FA cup for the cabinate at last.
City -- failed CL disaster again! scraped the PL by the looks and finally someone even if it is the corrupt europa officals have made a stand an appeal on the way and a few million euros in back handers will prob sort it out for city.
Chelski -- failed no silverware CL semi means nothing and out of PL race to early with the chosen Bum at the helm and the millions on the squad a season to forget.
Manure -- failed failed failed. a nightmare and the reduced income will make it hard to come back straight away the Glaziers will not invest as much as required and with a massive income dent from no CL the transfer market will be intresting in the closed season bargin basement purchases or panic buys to prop up a poor squad..
Spurs - failed and with a wage bill that was spent to guarentee CL football likely to be a massive selling club now trying to off load all the dead wood they spent the Bail money on... mid table next year.
Liverpool -- massive success give them credit performed on average brillant for a weak small squad and brought some players through (allen etc) if you had offered them fourth at the start they would have grabed it both hands... limited games with no european football so the limited games assisted them massive. Need to strenghten next year just to have a chance of maintaining some sort of challenge next year.
Everton -- great season playing great football onwards and upwards from them under a superb manager.
other success -- Crystal P what a turn round I used to hate Tony P and the football he played but Palace have turned it around playing great.. them same for Sunderland start of Feb only relegation seemed poss and with the fixture list they were doomed well done.
Roll on the world cup and I pray the Roy has the strenght to discard the old wood like Cole and Lampard and blood in the newer talent that is coming through .. lets face it we aint gonna win it so lets plan for the future !!!!!!

Neil,
An extremely thought out sensible post with many points that hit the spot......Except, if no European football has helped Liverpool put in a bid for the title (and great credit to them for taking it to the last game to keep the cheating B........ds on their toes) then the same logic will apply to us next year, so without the distraction of CL football we should win it without breaking sweat. I also think you will find that our new manager will have a massive transfer pot to spend and unlike others it will all be income earned by the club so we will not be branded as Cheats by Eufa, Fifa, the PL, the FA or anyone..... unlike an obnoxious little club not very far away from us.

George
Its great to here you listing youth football amounst your trophys so well done all that money spent and youth football silver to show 4 it... we have gone years with silver and you never here us list so here goes
if you look up the youth prem league in all guises since it started in 1998 tto 2013 Arsenal have 5 titles U17 to U19 the next nearest is 2 and Chelski win this year you say for the first time and you shout from the roof... times are hard
in the same period we have won the youth cup 3 times same as Chelski
10 ladies fa cups in the same period and add the Uefa womens cup 2006 - 2007
plus 9 league titles in the same period for the women.
So their was I thinking that it is 8 years 11 months and 15 days since we won a trophy but by your reconning we are the most successful club in the country
DREAM ON!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see the cheating b........ds in the half empty stadium march on. First Everton with no intention of trying to win, now Villa with their two centre forwards out injured. Not only a cheating club, but lucky with it!
