Oh deary deary me, what an embarassment to the Premiership, the so called champions of England, the two highest paid players in the prem, woeful, terrible, dithery, pathetic, what a complete disgrace, just look at all those glum despondant rags being kept behind in the stadium, it's brilliant, how far have they fallen, now a mid table club, no champions league next year, share price collapsing, players leaving, players not playing for the shirt, just taking the money and smiling all the way to the bank, the implosion of The Empire continues at pace, LMFAO

That wasn't a carve up, it was a good old fashioned 'fry-up' and even better that it was a Gooner who scored the second .......... how poignant

United lose to Olympiakos for the first time after winning the four previous meetings
- Stoke earn first win over Man Utd since 1984
- Swansea win first ever game at Old Trafford
- Newcastle win at Man Utd for first time since 1972
- Everton achieve same feat for first time since 1992
- West Brom win at Old Trafford for first time since 1978
-
- WHEN WILL IT EVER END????? NEVER!!!! LMFAO

Only half time my friends, Three 2-0 reverses for English teams, but the real embarassment is that two of them were in the Home leg! The Greeks had never won a CL knockout game before..... that puts them in the bitters class then as neither have they.
The plus point for me was that after Emmerdale, ITV inexplicably went off all night on this rig and we couldnt watch one minute of it. We had to put a film on...... I had forgotten just what a good film terminator 3, rise of the machines was.

Dakey, you're reminding me of that Iraqi politician claiming victory whilst a US Tank rolls into shot behind him.
Old Chinese proverb, man who can't see what's in front of his nose, breaks it on wall.
The real embarrassment would have been if your shower of sh1te had been playing Bayern or Barca, now that could have been comedy gold, even better than an on loan gooner reserve popping in the second after a powder puff attempt at a tackle by Michelle Carrick ............ onwards and downwards under Dithery Dave

Shampers,
I have just read an article that says the greeks have reached the quarter final in a previous campaign some years ago, unfortunately that leaves your team of chancers as the ONLY team never to have won a game in the knockout stage. another dubious achievement eh, get your facts right mate

Shampers,
My apologies mate, As you can imagine I have had quite a lot of correspondence this morning from my City friends from all over the place and one of them commented that the Greeks had never won a game in the knockout phase. In my haste to reply to them all and in a rush to get back on the job I somehow thought it was you as to be fair you have posted some complete shite lately. Never mind, no harm done.... at least I got the point over that you had never won a game in the knockout phase either.. in fact you have only ever played ONE!

Quite right Dakey it was our first, but you are soon to play your last for some time to come, so enjoy your final bit of Europe as you enter your Final Countdown

dakey, i have to hand it to you for sticking up for your team after they put in one of their worst if not their worst ever euro appearances. dont forget our 2 year bet on moosehead going but actaully i hope you win the bet and he stays as he as a liabilty mate and seems to be clueless. I will say one man u person that did a good job this week was gary neville. He is the best co commentator on tv at the moment, excellent.
Anyway at least one english team(the usual one) came away from this weeks european games with heads held high.

Cant argue with any of that George and I agree that Chelsea put in a proper performance last night. I always look to the next game, no point looking back. I am waiting patiently for us to turn it around, but its like pulling teeth at the moment I must admit. On the plus side there are quite a few teams that are out already, like City, Arsenal, a couple of German teams etc, at least we still have a fighting chance so thankful for small mercies.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10666519/English-clubs-in-Champions-League-get-no-favours-with-domestic-fixtures-says-Chelseas-Frank-Lampard.html
this article has a great deal of sense where lampard backs up wenger about our stupid fixture scheduling giving us a disadvantage in europe. tv money is a pain in the arse but when you pay looney 300k a week you need it.

George,
You offered him more and he turned you down, the difference is our money is earned income yours would be your owners pocket money. If you scaled your wages to what your club EARNS you would struggle to pay the tea lady!!

i think not dakey and you know it as we would then have to pay lamps, jt and torres the same
we didnt buy aguero as we refused to pay his wage demands as we adhere to the ffp rules as you well know

No George,
Unlike City, your owner is getting fed up of bankrolling you, he did it all in the early years and now you have to play the game of appearing to be properly run. If indeed he is refusing to cough up any more going forward then very soon you will be in the deep stuff....or you could just pay the wages that your clubs earnings allow and then you would fall like the proverbial stone.
City on the other hand are still new to the game and are trying to fiddle their way around the regs by rotating the owners ill gotten gains around the world and back into the club through franchises and family buisnesses and dodgy family owned sponsers. Like a pack of cards or a house built on sand it will all come crashing down.
