George,
You had the cheek to say we had handed the title to City, you do yourselves a disservice mate, you are making a great fist of doing that all by yourselves. It is obvious that Chelsea and Arsenal are not good enough to win it, so it all falls to the scousers to nick it with a bit of help from the gunners this evening even if they are only playing for pride.
As for us in the premium comp, a repeat of todays score will do nicely on tuesday.

Well Fellas,
It may well be an exciting title race, but it really is a race to the bottom isnt it? Of the top 7 teams 5 of them, Utd, City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs have all gone backwards to varying degrees. Only Liverpool and Everton have shown improvement and as I say, that evens everything up and makes it more enjoyable rather than generally watch Utd stroll it almost every year, but I would rather see everyone improving at the same time ready to challenge europes best again and we all look a long way away from that.......... but you never know!!

Come on fellas. We have a season off for transition and none of you want it enough. While it's exciting it's all a bit poor and desperate isn't it? We"d normally be going into overdrive now to pull 10 or 11 points clear but none of you seem capable. Arsenal dropping like a stone, City bottling it and Chelski back to picking on the ball boys. For Gods sake don't let the Scousers nip in and win it we"ll never see the trophy again if it disappears to Merseyside.
Chavvy - as you commented about us earlier in the season, you can have a week off now as you don't have a game in midweek.

Chaddy,
Is that the incident that the FA have scrutinised in great detail and decided that no further action is needed? anyway, it would be the closest that you blue shite have come to a wash in a long time.

Give L'arse some credit, they at least put up a fight and showed some pride unlike that shower from Stretford, what was very interesting was that the manure team last Tuesday cost £181m whilst the City team cost £156m, clearly some great buys by the dream duo of Fergiescum and Dithery Dave, gonna take years for them to challenge again at the top table, and they must be wetting themselves at what Bayern might do to them over the next couple of weeks, coud be very embarrassing

Whether Moyes is the right man for the job is up for debate, the fact that the man has bottle isnt after yesterday. To come out 5 minutes before his players to a packed crowd on his own took some bottle and I applaud him for it. Dont forget Shampers, that crowd can be intimidating and is about 3 home gates for your sorry little lot, who by the way are trying their level best to implode. It is only the fact that everyone else, except the scousers, are crap that still gives you a slight sniff. It is this year or never for you mate as you will never find us this bad again and you know it.

75 / 47 = 1.6x
Sums up your stats Dakey, as for coming out early i heard the players locked the changing room door to discuss tactics, looks they got it right.
And yeah silence can be deafening ........... have you seen the stats over the last 10 or 15 games, top teams going head to head whilst your sorry lot implodes more against the decnt teams, and you'll only get worse when the old fellas who got you through against the bubbles get another year older, or simply retire, as Souness said, you won't fix that squad in the short-term, so a few years of mediocrity for you lot - humble pie time rather than the arrogance of the last 20 years

Sturridge needs to cut out the diving if he wants to represent the nation. He's been spending too much time with Gnasher.

Dave,
The headline crowd figure might say 47,000, but the rest of us have eyes in our heads, that little rented ground is rarely more than half full and thats when the team is doing well. With the mickeys set to nick the league God knows what effect that will have on attendances. As far as Souness is concerned, all I can do is refer you to another ex anfield gobshite Hansen with his "you will not win anything with kids" rant. Enough said, we dont do 2 seasons on the trot struggling and that will not change with a change of management.

Luckily i was in malaysia cheering on hamilton from my corporate seat in the grandstand (hehe) just above buttons starting position so luckily that result detracted me from the w/e soccer. Must say torres is dreadful and with him in the side and not eto 'o then cfc arent the same side. Palace are my 2nd team so not overly bothered losing to them as long as they stay up. As i have said all along the title is citehs to lose but the 2 games at anfield are now crucial. Luckily i laid cfc to win the title after the l'arse result. Now its roll on the champs league. Are citeh in it?

George,
City have put in an unprecedented request to skip the CL next year. They argue that getting smashed up in nearly every game is severely affecting their confidence and they want a clear run at both the league and Wigan next year with no distractions.
I must say that we are going to have to produce something not yet shown this year to have even a chance of progressing further. Different to the normal run of things, we have to negotiate the leg where we have been weak this season ie at home. If we get to the away leg in close touch then we have a chance as we are TOP of the away league in the EPL.
