Man UÂ supporters are some of the least knowedgeable on the rules of the game, perhaps because they don't appear to apply to their team. And as for buying success, Glazers estimated $4.4 billion is obviously a compete irrelevance, unlike any other owner's wealth, which should not be allowed.
I'm actually quite an admirer of the Man U legend and many of it's past players, unfortunately following Munich a plethora of folk who couldn't be bothered to support their home town club jumped onto the Man U bandwagon, there are most probably more so called Man U supporters in Newton Abbot than there are in Newton Heath.

Hepititus,
There are more local people go to watch Utd than any other club in the land and because we are so popular there are also more away day fans who go as well, so a good mix of 50odd thousand locals and 20od thousand 'other'.
Now then, everyone knows that beating a motivated lower div club on their own midding is not easy at any time, we have dug in under some atrocious playing conditions and done it 3 rounds on the trot now....... Thankfully, we now have a home draw against a team that we traditionally bash up home or away so things are looking bright right now.

I presume that 'local' refers to Greater Manchester, which includes:-
Wigan
Bolton
Rochdale
BuryÂ
Oldham
Salford
Trafford
Tameside
Stockport
And last but not least, we must not forget MANCHESTER

you have to laugh at dakey, he makes winning at cambridge and preston with full strength  sides sound like beating real madrid barca and bayern in the CL,.(remember they only play about 40 games this season and never more than once a week)

jay. if you have ever travelled to an away euro match then you know that many fans that travel just go looking for trouble same as the england team, arsenal have a juniors club so please dont make out that 3 fans perporting to be cfc fans represent the club. if you had the time to visit our website you would find that everyone on there is disgusted by any kind of racist behaviour so please get a grip. im guessing you are a bit upset that your fellow frenchmen didnt the the win they wanted whilst chelsea walked away with not only a decent draw but hopefully a very important away goal. good luck when you play your fellow french brothers next week.

Chaddy,
Have you heard yourself, we have been hamstrung for 10 years paying back a debt that the authorities allowed the yanks to plonk on us with not a sign of the right and proper person vetting committee members anywhere in sight, we dont have to set up sham companies all over the world to absorb our financial dealings it is there for all to see.
George,
you are correct and we all stand 4 square with you that every right minded person at Chelsea is disgusted by the racism shown by some fans last night......every right minded person, except John Terry and his dad! whose behaviour has spawned these low lifes from the gutter.

Manchester United could become the next target of Uefa’s Financial Fair Play regulations after the governing body confirmed it would consider making debt reduction part of any change to the rules.
United have sailed through Uefa’s existing FFP tests, which focus exclusively on preventing clubs recording annual losses. But European football’s governing body has arranged a meeting on Monday to discuss potential tweaks to the regulations, amid criticisms it punishes over-investment but not the accumulation of debt.
about time these self righteous clubs who break the rules get puniished. lmfao

George,
You numpty, clubs who deliberately get into debt deserve to be sanctioned I agree and Chelsea and City would be in dire straits on the debt front without their owners money. However, the worlds most solvent club being plunged overnight into massive debt by the authorities allowing someone to 'buy' the club without the funds is tantamount to criminal negligence and football administrators should be doing hard time for it. Even an idiot can see the difference and that is why we set the moral compass down at the theatre not seek to circumvent it.

Georgeh,
Man U supporters are up to their necks in that large North African river, they are always innocent of all wrongs and always right on anything controversial. There's a saying that goes something like this, 'What is the difference between Old Trafford and a hedgehog? I'll let you work out the answer.

George,
The hearing is to consider how FFP is working and to CONSIDER adding other aspects like debt reduction into the equation. Either way, I think the debt reduction measures, unilaterally undertaken by our club by the way to reduce a debt imposed on us overnight and not run up by poor practices, that have reduced the debt burden down from £800 million to under £300 million, would pass any financial scrutiny by anybody. Nevertheless, if push came to shove we could always add another sponsor in a one off deal and wipe out the rest of the debt overnight as unlike your club and certainly the Sheffield basket cases, sponsors are actually queueing up to throw money at us.
