I read this thread, but try to stay away from the arrogance of the Man Utd fans on here.
However this time I can t resist.
Dakey and Kev. Have a look at the table. You seem pre-occupied with City, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and the red shi.. from near us.
Can t you see a proper football club in 5th place, who are showing the rest of the richer clubs, how it should be done.
Everton F.C. a true football club, run by genuine people.

Mark,
For my part I do apologise, Everton are one of my favourite clubs apart from UTD and I always look for their results. If you go back a few pages you will see that I commented to Jeb, a fellow blue nose of yours that Everton had indeed come under the radar quietly and efficiently to become the major force on merseyside and long may it continue. I only try to be arrogant mainly to two clubs and we all know who they are as they are punching well above their natural weight due to someone elses money and have changed the face of football for the worse for most of us. I would love to see Everton Arsenal Liverpool Spurs who are all properly run clubs finish above those two basket cases, in fact, they should be made to form a league of three along with Rangers for blatant manipulation of the system.
Finally, Tony, how can we recover something we have never lost? when we inevitably win it back this year that will be 5 titles in 7 years and runner up in the other two, one on goal difference and the other by one point. Now I may be a tad biased, but if that is not a monopoly then I dont know what is!!

"When I got a chance to leave City, I RAN to Milan" Quote from Balotelli on his arrival in Milan. That is the first time he has broken sweat all year then, but at least he is honest about life at the bitters. He just said what they are all thinking and we would have had a similar quote from Tevez if someone had been daft enough to pay the asking price and transfer fee.
The Chairman of Milan said it is a dream move come true, thats after the president Burlusconi said he was a rotten apple. Nightmares are dreams as well are they not? and Milan are just entering theirs.

Ha ha Dakey, you should have been a journalist, they don"t get the quotes right either ! Love your obsession with wanting City to fail even though you know it's not going to happen! Ballotelli was great but was not doing it on the pitch, will just ensure we strengthen further in the summer! Love it Tony

Nice to see you all at each other as norm. Great to nick it against stoke their footie is one dimensional and the sooner they fold the better. Could be interesting with the games Tom think this could be a pivotal point. City fail and the gap might be to big and the scammers from the lane must get a result or they just might fall again as normal. Everton nicked a point today against the worst side in the league and I think the big fella will be leaving at the end of the season and he will be sorely missed. Still think we can get fourth Neil

Neil,
I agree, Arsenal look the best bet to me, but dont stop at 4th, the other two are there for the taking, especially Chelsea. Winning ugly when not at your best is the secret, Utd have just done it twice in a week and you did it yesterday. City and Chelsea are supposed to be putting us under pressure, but it is the other way round, our relentless run of wins is asking very pertinent questions of those two clubs and frankly, they are just not up to it.
I have been saying for a long time that Citys mercenary players are only there for the money and despise everything else about the club, area, fans, in fact everything else about our way of life. Now as much as I detest Balotelli and also think he is the most over rated over paid trouble causing footballer since.... well, Tevez, at least he is honest. The only thing he liked about City was his manager and other over rated over paid mercenary players. No mention of the long suffering fans who paid his wages for not a lot of return and plenty of trouble and in fact he detested everything else about living among us northern Englishmen. I just wait with anticipation for his inevitable antics to begin at Milan and see how that great club deal with it. A bit better then the bitters and their fawning manager I would bet.
Finally, nice to see Rooney get over his niggling injuries and step up to the job of helping RVP and Chico position us nicely for the run in on all fronts.

Darren,
The clue is in the word FOOTball. A bunch of panseys throwing a ball about in suits of armour is hardly what I would call football and the fact it is played as a main sport only in the USA hardly constitutes a world stage does it mate. Says it all really when the viewing figures for the singer at half time was bigger than for the actual match last year.

Well Fellas,
It just gets better and better. Before the weekend Mancini said that by the end of February the points gap would be small!! I have to agree with him, the gap between the number of points Utd will have and the number of points needed to win the thing will be extremely small indeed!

Dakey,
Yes two interesting games today. Spurs showed that they are best placed to get third spot on current form and City showed they';ll be lucky to hang on to second spot having been played off the park by the scousers. I'll love the irony of Villas Boas going past Chelsea - shows what a good manager can achieve if they are given time. He must be delighted to have been sacked by the Russian dipstick.

Kev,
Mancini is in disarray, he now says that half the squad he has built up will have to be moved on and his director of football must secure his summer signings now, then mentions Suarez personally despite that player already stating he is happy at Liverpool. so its now ok to blatantly tap up players in mid season is it? Why would anyone want to go to that poxy horrible little club apart from money I will never know! Its quite nice, but boring to not have any credible challengers so to that end we can only hope that both Mancini and Rafa are given long contracts despite it being obvious they are not up to the job.

Dakey,
Chelsea are the biggest joke at the moment, left with a manager they don't want because no-one else wants to go there other than for the money. The young manager with potential they put in place last year was ousted by player power, has moved to their North London rivals and is actually taking the team that Harry built forward. Someone shouyld be giving the Spurs board some credit for their actions which seemed strange at the time. Even a young goalkeeper has chosen Stoke over Chelsea given the way they finally ruin players careers through mass purchases and then sidelining them in the reserves.
Shitty are going the same way. Give it a couple of years. Nice to see Sturridge repay their boos with a stunning goal and a kick in the nuts to their title aspirations. If they were more respectful towards their former players they may get it repaid with respect in return. They're a joke and Mancini is running out of people to blame.

Fellas,
Just read a very interesting article on sky, Eufa have released a report today advising that a total of 46 clubs throughout 22 countries would fall foul of the FFP rules due to kick in next year. Surprise, Surprise England has two on the list and we all know who they are dont we! They go on to say that sponsorship and donations from both owners and companies closely linked to owners will not be allowed to cloud the figures, so thats Citys massive sponsorship deal with one of their owners family companies blown out of the water then. Eufa go on to say that the rules apply to their competittions and then commend the football league for introducing their own FFP rules and urge the Premier League to follow suit. Brilliant stuff.
Thats it then, seeing as how those two clubs are struggling to compete this year even with all the soon to be illegal financial backing then I think we are witnessing the demise of two ...not so great little clubs who conned their way on to the top table. So, from me and many others, Goodbye and good riddance to bad rubbish!
