Don't often agree with the drivel meister too much, but our topic of conversation at the end of our game was as Dakey mentioned. 6 games left, for goodness sake play your best side. We have 4 defenders better than the others, surely they can play for 6 games.
With 18 points to go last season Chelsea in second were 11 points clear and we finished level
Just win and hope. but certainly best of season last night

Dave,
For goodness sake dont start agreeing with me after all these years, I will have to re-evaluate everything I believe in if you start that!
Did you notice that unlike the hysteria every time Utd get a favourable close decision, we have not mentioned the Wigan goal coming from what should have been a goal kick not a corner and a stonewall penalty when the defender had watched a ball come to him from 20 yards away and still handballed it. No, we have to take the good with the bad and just get on with it. It does reaffirm however my long held opinion that out of a bunch of incompetent useless buffoons that call themselves professional referees, Mr Dowd is the undisputed King!

Howard Webbs sons, George, Bobby, Denis, Eric and Wayne say their Dad gets very offended by the accusations of bias towards Utd and it has to stop.
(Wasnt it Webb who failed to send off the nutter Balotelli for jumping on Parkers head? didnt he then go on to score the winning pen agaist spurs? theres 3 points that our so called Utd fan Webb has gifted to City) apart from the Wigan decisions add the Ferdinand tackle for a Newcastle pen at o/t and those two incidents alone have cost us 5 points, thats an eight point swing right there without me even breaking sweat. Cant think of many occasions where we have benefited either, can you fellas.
Just listening to some drivel on talk sport, City fans are coming on saying if Tevez had played all season the league would be won for City by now. It seems that they have forgotten last season when he did play all year, finished joint top scorer and they still finished 3rd. This year we will win it with around 10 points more than last season, but they would have won it if Tevez had been available to them! Sounds like an idots logic to me, no wonder they are ridiculed everywhere.

Many of the decisions that have gone City's way this year have been a joke. So have many that have gone Utds way and to the rest of the PL teams. The ref generally aren't biased they're just poor. I cringe whoever I see is in charge of a Utd game.
And George, stop carping on about Webby. He is Mr bloody Chelsea more than your skipper (who'll be banged up next season hopefully). All your attempts to hide that fact don't fool anybody. He's given severl decisions in Chelsea's favour against Utd.
Anyway, onto the weekend which will be interesting and then next week when Barca will hopefully give Chelski their second stuffing in three days. No doubt both defeats will be down to having to play two games in a few days - poor things!

Dave,
You are like most of the refs, you have never kicked a football in your life so you havnt a clue what you are looking at. I have tried to educate you but I may as well try and teach the offside rule to a woman...... or an assistant referee!!

Fellas,
I am sat here bored waiting for the missus to wake up and you know how I like to play about with statistics, well how about this one to stir a little debate.
Arsenals invincibles; 2003/4 p38, won 26, goals scored 73, goal difference 47, ( yes we know they did not lose either) points 90
Rated by some as the best team ever.
Man Utd; 2011/2012 to date; p33, won 25, goals scored 78, goal difference 50 ,( yes we know we have lost 4 ) points 79
Rated by some as the worst Man Utd team for a long time.
conclusion; In the next few weeks our worst ever team are about to eclipse the games won, goals scored, goal difference and possibly, points total of the perceived best team ever!! and the invincibles did not have the two richest assembled teams in history to contend with either.
It just shows the magic of statistics doesnt it fellas.... over to you!

Shane,
We usually tailor our points total to beat what is nearest to us, be it 80 points or 90. The bitters will be getting excited again after smashing a couple of teams from mid table with absolutely nothing to play for and completely forgetting that every time the pressure has built up a bit they have folded like a pack of cards.

Have to say dakey you typify the United fans I know and have banter with. You all carp on about injustices, carp on about money spent by other teams ( City in particular), but conveniently forget the spend United have accumulated over the years, carp on about players who are failures at other clubs, United of course never having had any, and continually carp on about City being the bitters, which is absolute carp! How can you say that, we are not and never have been bitter, with all the trials and tribulations we have been through over the years, we just shrug our shoulders, and move on. If anyone is bitter, it is yourselves, who cannot accept that City are now the better footballing team in Manchester, and whilst your 'mob' are ahead in the league, it ain't through playing good football, just about grinding out results in numerous boring games.
Good luck to you, as it probably will take you to yet another title, of which United have to be applauded for, but I would love us to beat you (Kevin Keegan moment) on the kind of football we are capable of!
From a never bitter but very happy City fan...no matter what the outcome!!!

City,
I have to call you that because you wont reveal your identity, Just to remind you the money we have spent has been earned through the activities of our club, not gifted by someone with no affiliation or affection to the area who has bought players who hate the club, area and local people and those few local people that support City are that desperate for any kind of success that they will openly cheer those players who have so demeaned them..... I could go on and on and on, but you get my gist dont you?

City,
Oh and by the way, you are typical of all the city fans I know and have banter with, with things like " you will win the league but.... it is boring football.... If Tevez had not had his little holiday...... Our turn is coming...... your days are over....... You buy the refs and the FA.....Tick Tock....and on and on! That is why you have been nicknamed the bitters around Manchester and quite rightly so.
We play as attractive and expansive football as anyone in the league and have done for god knows how long now, but the difference between us and the likes of City and even Arsenal and Spurs is that we have learned that to win the league sometimes you have to get down and dirty and smashing the likes of Norwich and West Brom when they have nothing left to compete for is only half the picture and until that little lesson is learned then your time will not come. On the Tevez front, because he has scored a few goals in the last couple of games and proved how bad the other strikers have been, you bitters forget that he played all last season and you did not win it and the reason for his absence was that he had seen his backside with Mancini who had confined him to the bench and had regularly preferred his other strikers, culminating in his tantrum at Bayern where he refused to come off the bench sulking. To make the difference you are all spouting about, he would have had to convince Mancini to select him in the first place! Now that is piss poor management, another reason why you are floundering. As for our days being over, everyone keeps saying that every year we win something and I suppose law of averages dictates that you will be correct at some point, but not now and as far as buying the refs and FA, now that is money well spent, unlike the money lavished on most of your underachieving squad!
There, pick the bones out of that little lot.

Long day in the pub weekly roundup
Dave
No longer running the condado club up at the Clover now 4 screens including the new big one fittted today so see you in their soon
great to see the the manchester boys still fuding Dakey still playing stato and living in the past.
The Prem has been a 2 horse race for ages and I am looking forward to it going to the last game. You have both dropped silly points. If City dont win the big game then its over and Utd only need a point so we will all have to wait.
Spurs are in freefall and after suffering another disaster by a ref fell apart to a medioca Chelski team.
Shane you must be fearing the worst your team are at the point of ending with nothing, cup now gone CL slipping I fear for you.
Kenny keeps his job for a few more weeks and would you belive its Carrol that saves it anything is posible in footie...lol
Jay
Keep the faith in makes a change for us to end a season so strong but again we live in hope of summer signings and a new challenge next year. will ne shocked now if we did not qualify.
George
Great win today even if with so shocking reffing will make a good final though.
Neil

An absolute disgrace. Chelsea fans disrespect for a minutes silence, Atkinson (again) costing Tottenham a goal and missing two sendings ff (will Mikel be retrospectively punished for his kick on Parker) and yet everyone celebrating like all was well. The only people feeling worse than Spurs fans at the moment must be the bitters. Perhaps Chelski can show you can buy success after all boys?
