George,
Cant open it on the PC I am using, I will have to wait till I get home tomorrow, but if the FA have a look at it they may even knock a game off his impending 8 match ban.
Watching our heroes yesterday, we have scored over 80 goals already and if you take off the mercurial RVPs total, the team without him have scored over 60, hardly a one man outfit on those figures eh?
If Berbatov stopped sulking for a minute at his treatment by Sir Alex and ponders why he never really floated the boat of our fans, then all he has to do is watch a video of yesterdays game and the penny will surely drop. Ryan Giggs in his 40th year was mr perpetual motion, up and down the track all day and quality on the ball for yet another MOM performance. Berbatov, on the other hand, quality on the ball but never broke into even a jog all game and that is the crux of the matter. Fans spending their hard earned money on tickets have no truck with overpaid lazy B.......! They will however, put up with an overpaid player who puts a shift in for the club. simple as that!
If Brentford knock you out today that is Chelseas season over and done with before the end of January. That would normally mean a swift end for the manager. The problem you have now got though is who would take on that poison challice? No one with any semblance of integrity would go within a thousand miles of it and its all your owners doing. Careful though, if the protests get too loud he may just pack up and leave taking his money with him, which would leave your little club neck deep in the brown stuff.
Enjoy the game george.

George,
By my reckoning you have about 31/2 months longer to keep trotting out that little statement, then the staus quo will be invoked and the question reversed to apply to both you and the bitters. In the meantime make sure your team and management keep entertaining us all in the manner you have so far this season. Even though City are about to end the season with nothing, they are at least showing a bit of bottle, grinding out results when they are not playing that well. That is one of the key ingredients of a champion team and I commend them for it, even though it will be to no avail. Yourselves on the other hand have no redeeming qualities and once the luck of last year wittered away there was nothing left in the tank.

Fellas,
What a top weekend of FA Cup football!
enjoyed every minute of it, but I must comment on my old friend Rafa, I just cant help myself. On a day when his old club Liverpool proved that they have still not recovered from the absolute mess he left them in when they sacked him and in the week when his present club have been completely and utterly embarrased by first Swansea then BRENTFORD!!, you would think he might want to keep his head down for a couple of days..... not a bit of it, he comes out with a hatful of excuses why they are currently not performing and none of the reasons are his fault and he is just letting everyone know he is interested in the Chelsea job full time!!!! WHAT?
This man is in a different world to everyone else, he really believes he is Gods gift to football management, he believes he knows how to rotate players and he is a master tactician! The unbelievable part of it is he keeps getting clubs to pay him millions of pounds a year for his efforts. Come to think of it he cant be as stupid as I think he is, can he?

We wake up this morning to find that, not Rafa, but the son of Rafa Brendon Rogers with the brass neck to critisise the young players that he had picked in his woeful Liverpool side at Oldham yeasterday! The FA Cup was Liverpools last chance of silverware this season so what the hell was he doing tinkering with his team anyway? He should have picked his best 11 and carried on picking his best 11 in each round while they were still in it. Now, because of his team selection the red half of Liverpool have not got anything tangible to look forward to till next season and he has the cheek to blame his young players...... tosser!
Rafa, by the way, did exactly the same and got away with it by the skin of his teeth. I will never understand this theory that footballers cannot give of their best playing two games a week. Did you see the tennis over the weekend, those lads in the Final with blisters putting in a lung busting effort for up to 5 hours at a time with hardly a days rest between the final and previous games. Its about time that footballs sports science professionals were consigned to the dustbin of history, the sooner the better.
Feel free to join the debate fellas, I am feeling a bit lonely again.

Can't believe I find myself agreeing with Dakey but I am!!!
If proffesional footballers can not play a couple of games a week and give there all when they have all the time and support in the world to rest, recover with ice baths, massage not to mention not doing what the rest of us have to do, i.e. doing some real work etc- Great example of the tennis players, have never heard them moaning!
The managers pick the teams, it is up to them to get them to perform - any of my staff underperform then I take the blame and accept it
sick of the excuses!!!
Best example ever was Brian Clough when Forrest were 2 - 0 down at half time - In the dressing room at half time Brian Clough was nowhere to be seen, just as the teams were summonsed out for the second half, old Cloughie pokes his head round the changing room door and says " sorry lads, its all my fault, I put the wrong team sheet out!" Forrest went on to win that day 3 - 2
Well done Oldham

Well Fellas,
I see partly due to the surge in our share price in New York, but not solely that, we have just been valued as the highest valued sports team in the WORLD at $3.1 BILLION! ahead of our nearest rival, an american football team at just over $2 billion. with other famous football teams no where in sight. Now by whatever yardstick you measure it by, that is a pretty impressive performance and not a penny peice of it from a rich sugar daddy owner. Do you know the best part? It is predicted that it will get even better for us going forward! Puts all the petty comments into place from when we first floated and achieved a below expected share price, eh!
Just thought I would impart that info for you to digest over your cornflakes.

Ha ha, Dakey that is great news for the Glazers - means absolutley nothing for your football club - Give me a sugar daddy anyday rather than someone who is going to milk your club dry!

Kev, quite right and thats what's great about our sugar daddy!! Invests significantly and then transfers the debt into stock so worst case scenario and he walked away there is still no debt and the club is on a sound footing.
Happy days!!
Good to hear FC United have had their new grounds planning permission pass another major stage, about time some people stood up to the glazers and the values they have enforced
on to the club. They will continue to milk Utd for all they can and the club will be in a worse state when they decide to walk away with their pockets linned! utd are a licence to print money but who for? It is certainly not being re invested in the club, players, fans etc.
The future is BLUE
Enjoy

Tony,
In case it escaped your attention, The debt is half paid and ongoing, We paid £25 million for RVP and another £15 million for Zaha who is another one for the future. It seems that anyone with ambition is prefering us to others and anyone wanting a fast buck is prefering the bitters. Meanwhile, what is going on at the Emptihad? It appears you are hawking the loon around Italian clubs for £24 million and you wont accept a penny less. The problem you have then ,just like Tevez, is that no one else agrees with either your valuation or the salary you are paying these muppets. So thats it then, you either have to drop your figures drastically or you are stuck with the most expensive pair of bench warmers in football history. Meanwhile, we continue to sweep all before us.

Dakey - Remember where the debt came from? Yes the Glazers, I don't think the debt is half paid but if it is any you are quite happy that they hocked the club up to the eyeballs to pay for what??? Yes the purchase of the club I would not shout it from the roof tops. RVP - great gamble and will give Taggart the credit for that, Zaha, we will see!!! Your squad is in desperate need of investment, where is that coming from?
With regard to us selling players, its quite simple, we don't need to unless it is right for us - if it is we sell, if it isn't we don't! However as much as ballotelli is a character, he has not been doing it on the pitch and probably won't for a number of years. personally I would sell but we will see. don't nessesarily need to replace as John Gudetti could have a run.
We will see

Tony,
We have spent £40 million on two players this season, so the investment is there and is coming from our massive turnover. You are correct though I hate the Glazers with a passion, but they have backed Sir Alex every time he has wanted a player. The great one has come out and said this is the best squad of players he has had in his time at Utd and who am I to disagree with him. We also have more young players in the squad then at any other time in his reign so where is this need to invest in the squad more than he is already investing? he is doing that season after season and that is why we stay ahead of the pack. As far as you paying over the odds for players and then paying them too much for their abilities meaning you struggle to move them on just means unrest in the squad and that has shown in your general performances this year despite a little mini revival that is merely papering over the cracks.
Cheers, Dakey

Kev,
The bitters drawing with the bottom of the league has got me sweating buckets, the pressure they are putting us under is nail biting! By the time City take to the field against Liverpool we could and should be 10 points clear, now that is what you would call reversing the pressure onto them and I think they will fold like a pack of cards.
Meanwhile down at the Emptihad, the show just goes on and on. "We wont sell Balotelli unless the price is right for us and that price is £24 million." (comment last week from Mancini) So in the topsy turvy financial world of the bitters £17.5 million is the same as £24 million!! I know there are add ons based on performance but with a strike rate of 1 goal in 14 matches it is unlikely that those will ever kick in unless one of them is can he stay out of prison for two years or so.
Everyone knows I can be a tad biased like any football fan, but I seriously thought that City and Chelsea would kick on from last year and we would have it all on to wrest the title back. The opposite has happened and although I had hoped for it, I cant believe how far backwards those two clubs have slipped and I am not sure they can ever recover from it. It is a great opportunity for the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and even Liverpool to get back amongst it in the run in.

I don't know about you lot but I can smell another mortage coming online soon!!
The Glazers will be rubbing their hands with joy.
Utd can be valued for any amount by whoever but all them Glazers want is the dollar back out and success will always be secondary to them. As long as they can keep Sir Red Chops alive and well they might get away with it but he can't last forever and a mega spend is required due to the age of the squad. Thats why its such an important season for them and and also why his eratic behaviour has been even more ludcicrous than usual. I've never seen him more stressed than now. Fact is, its a masive season for UTD to try and wrestle it back and if they can't which is looking unlikely due to Citeh's eratic form then it could all end in tears for Fergie and the rest of them from Croydon!!
Dakey mate does any of your hard earned end up in them yanks pockets or do you solely rely on the M1/M6 Cavalcade of cash coming up from surrey?
I'm off to grove now with my lad to hopefully watch our lot snuff out them mickey mousers, a repeat of last wedneday's fare would be nice!!

Hey Jay,
Thought you were dead and burried last night - woeful defending but good come back!
Dakey - I thought you had been watching football for a long time and certainly with Taggart - if you don't know the mind games that go on then you never will, obviously City will quote all sorts of figures for a player as there is always negotiation in any business transaction so the higher the starting point the higher the final figure.
If Utd go 10 points clear on level games then it will be very difficult to catch but don't think for one minute that it means UTD will have recovered their monopoly of the english game, far from it - Teams are getting stronger while UTD are just papering over the cracks so that the Glazers can keep taking their £7mill per year dividend whilst paying down their debt before selling to the highest bidder with all the money taken from the club.
As far as City slipping backwards, ha ha - keep trying to convince yourself, city have only just scratched the surface
Roll on the weekend for the next premier league instalment
