Dakey,
I don't think I have come across anyone who was opposed to using after match video footage to punish the diving, cheating, or playacting that goes on.
Its only when you start talking about replays during the game that people start to be less agreeable.
You have to wonder what or who is stopping it happen.
Ronaldo must have picked up the habit recently...never saw that in a Utd shirt!!

Well Fellas,
That Chelsea performance has left me in a bit of a quandry and full of contradictions. Do we congratulate Chelsea on a historic win and a sterling backs to the wall effort or do we lament at them only having one shot on target and be thankful that Barca left their shooting boots at home. After hearing all year how good La Liga is compared to the Premiership, can we legitimately ask why their top team has been beaten by our current sixth best team. Will Chelsea have a chance or is the goal scored tonight just the difference between 0-5 or 1-5 on aggregate. All compelling stuff but one thing is chrystal clear, Drogba is not only the king of divers he is also an Oscar standard actor and I cringe at his antics every single time someone goes within 3 feet of him. How he can watch himself later and not be totally embarrased is beyond my understanding and if they ever introduced retrospective bans then he would never play again!

I think when he retires from football he's gonna have a glittering career in the WWF. He'd be absolutely brilliant in that with all that faking, acting and giving it large!! Too be fair though he was different gravy on Sunday against sp*rs.

Well for a lot of the season I was blaming the kids for me missing all the action...now I am thanking them!!
Spurs wheels have well and truly fallen off and I am beginning to think the CL would be an embarrassment the way we are playing. Maybe a bit tough as a few games recently we really should or could have won.
Haven't given up hope for 4th but momentum is everything and we don't have it.
But Harry has done well this season and he's given the supporters something to cheer about. I remember Padraig Harrington said something along the lines of you never learn anything when you come from out of the pack to finish 3rd or 4th with a last round 65. Anyone can do that as you know you can never win. Harry at least put us in the picture and it was nice to be mentioned when the discussions of who was going to win the league went on.

you are very welcome Shane, Joking apart, there was a time not too far back when I would have put my house on you finishing above the bitters, now it looks dodgy whether you qualify for Europe at all. Now that is some reversal of fortune and I dont know about you but I cant put my finger on why it has happened. look on the bright side, RVP is looking distinctly one footed and ordinary at the moment, so Arsenal are struggling and Newcastle might just pip them for the Automatic spot, scant reward for a promising season gone wrong, but I cant find anything else to provide solice.

PS I have edited as I have just remembered where it went pear shaped. It was when Balotelli got away with stamping on Parkers head and scored the winning penalty at the Etihad when Defoe had just missed a golden chance at the other end. That must be what Mancini meant when he said there are different rules for different teams!

Dakey, until yesterdays loss I still thought we were in with a great shout for 3rd.
The poor run has definitely highlighted the weaknesses in the squad and hopefully will push the board into some quality signings. But we still have a good squad. They just need to pay for a couple of real quality players.
If they buy another player to play in the centre of the park I'll shoot myself.

Jay,
For once I am almost speechless, both City and ourselves are trying to give it back to each other. One team has it won then hands back the initiative then the other does the same. A big day looming for Manchester football, but even then it is not certain as both teams have tricky fixtures after that. Today we saw the two sides of Utd, great attacking football with 4 supurb goals, but coupled with the worst defensive display I have ever seen from any Utd team! If the defence repeats that next week City will score ten never mind six. I have been going on all season about Evans and Evra and today it all came home to roost. Evans is a good footballer but a defensive disaster every time we are attacked and Evra has not put in one decent tackle all season and that is criminal for a full back. Other than that though everything is rosy in the garden!
