Top price ........being the operative words!!! Yet again Dakey you look the fool.
As always the media points out that our prices are the highest and on face value they are. However unlike your mob and most others they are for 26 games (7 cup ties champs league and FA cup).
The majority of tickets are in our lower tier as are my three tickets and they are £1,100 which works out at £42 a game.I think that is a lot money and agree that I'd rather pay a lessser amount and would think around £35 would be about right. We have a great policy for carling cup games and only charge £10 for kids and £20 for adults but nobody mentions that either. We also only charge kids £10 for all category C games of which there are at least 6 or 7 a season.
You have horrible little yanks skanking you and we have a horrible little yank doing us the same way and I find both abhorrent.
The thought that all these horrible sheisters, agents and greedy agents are sticking it to us makes me sick to the stomach and only not going on mass would stop it but you'd know all about that because you never go anyway.
So you just keeping spouting like you do and keep up your £65.00 sky and £10.00 BT subs and slither back down on your red Man Utd Lazy"B" arm chair and type out another ill-informed post as usual!!!
As for prices for our kids and aspiring players to hire out/play on quality astro turf pitches I'd genuinely be interested in the cost differencial between the norf and sarf. Just because we earn more down ere doesn't mean we should get taken advantage of!!!!!!! :)
Oh and just incase you aint signed it yet.....http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/66835

Calm down, Calm down as the Skally's would say,
Good points raised by both - everything stems from grass roots footy & anything we can learn from the Jerry's is fine by me, when you consider the success of the National & Bundesliga Teams in recent years.
None of us can be happy with the Cash, that continues to pour out of the game each year Jay, but at least the penny has dropped with our set of Yanks Jay & started to invest in team again. The current side is inbalanced & it will take a couple of windows to get it right, in the mean time some of our kids are getting good exposure at the top level & may even secure a permanent place. It is 1937 since United last fielded a first team without a home grown player - a stastic the club should be immensly proud of. Yes, sadly we have to release the odd one who doesn't quite make the mark (Welbeck) but that's how it is. Another home grown talent (Wilson) just steps up to take his place. That's how it is, that's how its always been.
I was at the Everton game, your right Jay, the defending was shi*e, & clearly the club missed a trick in the summer in not bringing in an experienced stop-gap. The benefit is the 2 kids are getting games & proving what top players they will become.
Finally Shaw v Gibbs....? Do me a favour Jay. When blasting on about being blinkered etc, please take a look at your self, Hopefully that big fat lip has settled down since we last shared a sherbert or 2...!!
Nick

Jay,
In your attempt to mitigate the scandalous £97 per game, £2013 season ticket financial rape of the loyal Arsenal supporters you claim that you pay £1,100 for you and yours season tickets as some kind of badge of honour...... that is still more expensive than Utds TOP season ticket price. Please abide by the old saying 'when you are in a hole, stop digging'
Nick,
You make a very sensible valid comment regarding the hapless Welbecks failure to cut it down at the theatre of dreams and quite rightly applaud king Louis for giving young players a chance. Young Wilson, a top striker in the making if ever there was one is one such player who has now been promoted to Welbecks fourth choice striker position. On the down side that could leave us vulnerable to a bid from Arsenal who seem to think that our fourth choice strikers are their saviours from mediocrity. A quick comparison of the two clubs shows that we take their best strikers and they take our stand in strikers...... that says it all I think.

Great atmosphere at the palace game and i was gutted not to have been there as that is always my fav away day as the ground is just up the road from where i used to live and there is always a full house and lots of great banter.
2 fanatastic goals for the league leaders and i would also say the ref had a very good game and got both sendings off spot on.
On the flip side you could hear a pin drop when i watched the highlights of the farce at the cameldome library-lol! I also see that l'arse's great saviour Ozil wants out as he doesnt like being told where to play but seems a nice fella as he has been having an affair with an ex team mate.s bird. lol!

Yes George,
I read that about Ozil as well..... it seems he bought her a big box of 'Terrys all gold' which are the go to chocolates when having illicit affairs with your mates wife.
On to the football, I would think that all punters in the know would have said at the start that Chelsea and City would be in the mix and also could Utd under King Loius crash the party this year or would it be too soon. One thing we didnt guess on was that Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs would be effectively out of the running before the end of October and the main challengers to the afore mentioned teams would be Southampton and West Ham!! It seems £2013 for a season ticket doesnt guarantee you anything these days.
Just a final point, is it me or are the gaps in the crowd at the Emptihad getting bigger? It looks like it to me and if so why the hell are they busy increasing the size of a ground they dont even own? I think I will knock on my next door neighbours door and ask him if I can build an extention on the back of his house for him.... as that is exactly what the bitters are doing.

Good performance at a very tricky ground, but King Louis has to address the defensive issues as they are schoolboyesque at times. Sir Alex said Jones was the best player in our entire history!!! He must have been on his vintage wine when he said that, Jones looks more and more like an Arsenal defender with every passing game. I just cannot fathom why he would just push up out of his central defensive position into midfield and leave his man with a clear run on goal, it just defies logic and he is supposed to be an international. On the plus side, what a goal from the curly haired one, lets hope he can now show he is better than he has so far shown. We will need him at some point on Sunday to help prise open Chelseas parked bus.

good mid tablle battle yesterday and i hope that the prawn sandwiches defend as badly as that again next week as I think all out attack with hopefully Costa spearheading it will clearly embarrass the school teacher next week.

Not thinking about weekend yet George, I am going to enjoy the CL games this week first. There are some interesting ties to watch, not least the bitters and CSKA to see who finishes bottom of their group.

I propose that City get a wild card into the CL every year, I know it wouldnt be fair on our other teams but they are such good bloody entertainment, I have not stopped laughing for 2 hours, my ribs are killing me! I am just watching the Roma team that dismantled City at the emptihad get the biggest run around for ages, that Bayern team are something else, their fans are rocking the place. It reminds me of the 89th minute at the Camp Nou in 99.... they were rocking the place then as well.

terry an old man- ran the length of the pitch to score from a breakaway corner, well impressive, but then got crocked as did our 2nd choice striker. it all right for your lot dakey, doing a liverpool and only played about 6 games this season so if your lot dont beat us this w/e then you are truly dreadful. but the good news is we will still be 8 points above you so you still will finish below us! my bet is wel safe-lol

George Mate,
We have had horrendous injuries all season involving over half the squad so dont whinge about a couple of knocks to your players please, I dont see too many occasions where you have had to throw in youth team defenders this year like we have. just a minor correction you are ten points ahead of us so if we win that will be 7 points behind not 8. We have turned that deficit around before on the last time you came flying out of the blocks so dont count chickens just yet. Applying your dodgy maths to our bet, that would be 5 euros I will owe you then (lol)
