The Comments |
Jay,
We will get the stupid comments on here, but like you last night I am almost speechless after that tonight. I dont think I have ever been as proud of my team ever as what I am at this moment. To go to the Champions of Europe, who started with a strong team and strengthened it with Ramiries, Hazard and Oscar as the game went on, and play like that with a reserve team packed with kids including our SIXTH and SEVENTH choice centre backs and then come within a whisker of nicking it has got to be one of the performances of the decade. It shows what spirit we have ingrained through the fabric of the club and these money teams will never replicate that in a million years.
Anyway nothing to complain about decision wise so good luck to Chelsea in the next round and back to the real business in hand.

Great studff chelsea, much easier to play against 11 men than 12. what happened dakey lad, fergie leave clattenberg and webb on the bench. oh and go look at your post yesterday to dave about up and coming players. looks like your up and coming players arent too hot either. now lets see if you can try and beat us again fairly. unlikely. roll on the champions of europe (with strength in depth- tee hee).
and interesting that john terry supposedly makes a racist comment and he should be hung drawn and quartered but mark clattenberg your 12th man does it and he should be knighted- lmfao kev.one rule for chelsea one rule for utd. thats why everyone hates you lol.i dont i just feel pure sympathy. oh well another trophyless year for the reds of england. come on you blue boys.

George,
It is obvious that you value the League cup highly as you selected half the team that we spanked in the league and then brought on your 3 superstars as you struggled mightily to overcome our reserves with our 6th and 7th choice centre backs. We changed the entire team from weekend with the exception of Raphael and brought younsters like Macheda, Powell and Tunnicliffe from our bench while you brought on the superstars. It is quite obvious that the moral victory was to our reserves and the last couple of games at the bridge has just shown everyone where the pecking order lies and I have to say my friend it most definately is not in your favour. You may now nick the League cup and beat someone elses reserves, but that is about all you will get from this season. As for the racist comments, talk about sore losers! accusing a referee of racist insults is the lowest of the low and it will come back to haunt you. You just wont admit that your beloved Terry is guilty and has admitted it and apologised. You are the only one still in denial.

Excellent performance from the youngsters last night - really proud of them. Chelski had to resort to bringing on all their big stars to squeeze past us. The only thing I have a problem with is their manager bleating on about how it proved a point. WHAT? They were outplayed on Sunday - jog on. Clattenburg didn't even have a bad game with only the Torres sending off being debatable either way. The offside goal was down to the linesman as was the Luis handball that would have givenUtd a penalty at 2-1. Decisions go both ways . Just because you lose a game doesn't mean you can make up stories to try to blame someone else. That's playground behaviour. This is the fourth time Chelski have done this to officials and it's about time they were dealt with in some way. Also, are they going to be charged over their behaviour post match in the officials rooms? Are their fans going to be charged over the disturbances post the winning goal? Come on FA take some action.
JUSTICE FOR CLATTENBURG

Went last night and got to say the youngsters did us proud, I know a couple of Chelski goals came from mistakes by Scott Wooton but its a learning curve, they did very well considering the team Chelski put out or should I say finished with.
Even though we lost Ive got to say from our fans side our humour gets better and better, I was peeing myself at some of the quick witted comments coming out and being sung last night, well done the lads. Had 5k of us there last night and totally out sang them (Well we usually do anyway).
Had the easiest exit and get away from the brigde Ive ever had but thats probably to do with our numbers, top night, great laugh shame about the result (If only Nani could keep the ball). Onwards and upwards.

I will just say it ne more time chaddy so even you will understand, We are proud of those kids and squad men as they went into the home of the European Champions and league leaders ( although not unbeaten league leaders any more) and at 93+ mins were actually in front against a team hell bent on some sort of misguided revenge. I must say though that among all the kids and superstars one nearly 39 year old was skipping around in the 30th minute of extra time getting booked for last ditch tackles. That man Giggs was immense all night long, head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch.
Let me just have a check of where you are Chaddy at the minute, Out of the Capitol Cup despite playing a near full strength team, out of the CL despite playing a definate full strength team, wont even qualify for the Europa league. No chance in the League on current form. Oh but you are still in the FA cup because it has not yet started for premier teams. It follows that the only thing you have to gloat about is the defeat of our reserves against the European champions in extra time. It must be sad being you mate.

Oh dear George. Where is it going to end? It looks like the web of lies your players fabricated at the weekend is unravelling. I suspect your club has comitted itself to this foolhardy course too much to back down now. Your only saving grace is that the FA will probably be too weak to do anything but give you a fine. However, the universal hatred for you seems to have spread to many clubs, many managers and probably many officials. This is the fourth time your lot have tried to blacken the name of an official and you've not yet won a case.
..and now it appears you've got racist supporters being caught in the act as well as racist players. Tut, tut.
I guess you'll all still wear the respect badge though even if respecting officials means you threaten to break their legs.
To all City/Chelsea fans - we wouldn't expect you to understand our pride in the performance of young players we've developed and are trying to take further. You just wait for other clubs to do all the work and then buy them up. You're the worst type of clubs and people - scum with money!

Fellas,
You have to retain a sense of humour with your football otherwise it just gets tedious. Just seen the Utd banner at stamford bridge last night " Chelsea against racism.. since last weekend"!
Priceless

I think it says it all when you have to wave the black coach card George.
You can be happy mate but make no mistake about the reasons that no other teams like Chelski or the way they're corrupting the game.

Just read an article on Sky news where Sir Alex blamed Nani for trying to beat a man with 20 seconds to go of normal time for the defeat instead of just keeping the ball in the corner. I have posted below his comments on Ryan Giggs in the same article that echoed mine in my last post. The great man must be reading this forum and using my opinions.
One player who did earn the praise of the United boss was two-goal Ryan Giggs, who played the entire game and was singled out by his manager as a shining example.
"I think in Ryan Giggs we saw a player of absolutely unbelievable proportions in terms of playing the 120 minutes at 39 years of age next month," added Ferguson.
"It's a credit to himself but it's also an example to every player on that pitch including the Chelsea players."
