Well well well been a little busy lately but back again.
Thanks to all that used the club and nice meeting Jay and some of the others.
Right to the footie ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Thought It was gonna be a great xmas period then fulham popped in to ruin the party so up to last nightb the status quo remain with Spurs gaining one.
THEN the bar packed the atmosphere good with a healthy support for both and Bang come on you geordies wow. It was not just the result is was the performance, when city, arsenal and chelski have lost an arguments could be made that they were the better side in each game especially city v sunderland. But Newcastle easily outplayed utd and it seems the the quality to maintain the title charge may not be there and they may have to concentrate on spurs more than city time will tell.
Dakey, I never take offense at anthing footie wise so dont worry and it was a pleasure seeing you team demonstrate the art of defending against the geordies and Blackburn. When you talk about entertainment \utd have been giving me loads. Great goals shame it aint your lot scoring them all!!!!!!!
Dave and all the city fans also need to keep an eye on spurs and with the inconsistancy you have produced recently the title race is far from over,
Think I believe that fourth is between Chelski and us so will be waiting for your ruskie owner to panick and sack the manager its coming!!!!!
Roll on 2012 and the cup
Neil

More rubbish last night guys - but not from the Magpies! Credit to them they played really well and stuffed us like Christmas Turkeys! Starting to see Spurs as favorites for the league at the moment as they are the in-form team. Fascinating run in looking likely...

Hiya Fellas
Nice amount of posts coming through and interesting reading
Neil, we seem to be being drawn into a myth of going through a bad spell. Don't let that fool anyone into thinking we are playing poorly. We simply hiccupped failing to score in 2 away games with over 30 shots and average possesion of 67%. Basically still playing everyone off the park.
We are not stumbling and bumbling amount like Dakeys lot and Neil especially from you, please remember, we played Spurs at there own place, beat them 5-1 going on 9-1 at a canter, when they were playing well???
Interesting fact for the "ownly buying it" brigade. Our complete 5 men defence in our comprehensive, yet another, 3-0 home win against Liverpool on tuesday, cost us just over half of what Dakey's lot paid, over 10 years ago for big camel Rio????? Now that is interesting
Dakey, amongst the huge influx of us City boys now posting, have you noticed that there are now 4 Dave's. Its not me posting 4 times to get reaction is it ?

Hiya Jay
My opinion on Yaya is he is unique and awesome. Huge big game player in a couple of ways heh heh
We'll see how strong a squad now. Yaya is the only outfield player never left out.
Any dish on Hargreaves for one of our goals on Sunday

No worries mate catch up at some point, yes heard all the rumours, cops in riot gear thats a first. Whats all this 2 beer nonesence how they going to sort that, Cant see it myself.
Weve had the below official info.
* There will be no alcohol ban inside the ground, although fans (both home and away) will be limited to purchasing two drinks per person. Local pubs will be closed.
* United DVDs will screen in the away fans' concourse.
* Fans should expect to be kept inside the ground after the game until nearby roads are cleared. A final decision will be made on the day, but fans may be allowed outside of the stands as there is more room in the holding area.
* Police officers will be in full riot gear, as officers were injured at the previous derby. One officer lost partial sight of one eye.
Futhermore, Manchester City Football Club have advised fans that there is no street parking available around the Etihad Stadium. Supporters are requested to park in MCFC-accredited car parks around the stadium, or take public transport
Anyway good luck mate catch up with you soon.

Officers in riot gear will be itching to try it out. We wanted you locked in after the match for an hour with blue moon played at 200 decibels similar to what we've always copped for at your place Hope we see you at condado early in year

Dave...specifically citydave to avoid confusion
Good crack at Rio...well overpriced.
Hope old Sheik moneybags doesn't get wind of that fact or he'll need to buy in a whole new defence for a £100m. How would it look to his mates if his defence wasn't the most expensive!!
Then again he could say he pays his back-up's £100k a week to train.
Looking forward to the Spurs game at City in a few weeks...think we are much better than we were last time. Then again you guys might be as well.

Well fellas,
Been keeping my powder dry as I dont do knee jerk reactions. Dave, another record broken....shortest ever FA Cup tenure for the holders, that didnt last long did it mate? Only two more trophies left now to put in your massive trophy cabinet. We are too sentimental, if we hadnt taken our foot off the gas the 6-1 was in mortal danger.
Just to finish, if City appeal the red card for a studs up two footed tackle then the 3 match ban will become 4 for a frivolous appeal and you cant afford to be without your skipper and main midfield man at the same time. interesting times ahead now.
Cheers, Dakey

Looks like FOY has joined the rank and file with WEBB eh??
If that was a sending off then they may as well call the game Basketball as it may as well be a none contact sport!!
he should be reffin on a Sunday morning not spoiling a major game in the calendar! Once again we are looking at the useless Ref instead of pondering over what should have been a classic game!

Spot on Dakey. The amazing thing is players show little thought to the risk associated with their actions (and I'm not just talking about Kompany). If they know they are potentially going to get red carded why take the risk? Also, if teams play at the edge of acceptable limits they will get found out from time to time and that's what happens to City on occasions (Richards, YaYa, Kompany, Lescott - they'll all push officials to the limit). I think it would have been alot more comfortable if the stonewall penalty at 3-1 had been given to Utd but hey, I'm happy to be in round 4! Respect to City though - it was a great effort to comeback in the second half and with the talent in their squad they will always have a chance. It does look like we may have a nicked your wheels though Shampers!
Liverpool away in R4 - making it easy for us again! No doubt if we scrape through it'll be Chelsea away in R5!

Dakey,
Will give you that one, hope you go all the way to the semi's with plenty of Replays.
Red card will be appealed, have only heard of three people who think it was Red and that is you, fergie and the referee!! Most dont even think it is Yellow, however by the rules - dangerous is Yellow and malicious is Red so at a push could see Yellow , absolutley no way a Red.
Great goals from Rooney and Welbeck but I though Utd were a shaddow of themselves - take the foot off!! You know they wanted to score six or seven but they just did not have it, even against 10 men.
FA cup, would have been nice but that was our stepping stone and the Blue Moon will continue rising - I am more than happy with how our development is progressing.
Enjoy
Tony

Gents
Been game today, stewards and coppers on M entrance total pain complaining about everything, once in and kick off noticed the usual gathering of empty seats dotted about the blue sides of the ground, 1st goal spot on, red card bit harsh, some you get some you dont, 2nd goal well taken Danny, pen not so sure need to see it on the box to comment, bit lucky with the rebound, Scholes out of the ashes, top man and total legend but come on Fergie lets move on, second half performance by Citeh excellent and hats off, had us worried for a bit, final whistle and a 15 min wait till they let us out then another 15 min wait on the concourse surrounded by the Spetznas in what they called a holding area, overall happy as and an even bigger smile as we all got the game we wanted with a lovely trip to the dippers at the end of Jan.

Not seen the game, was in work so followed it on BBC Website, and at 3-2 Guy Mowbray tweeted ''Kolorav'' (and nowt else) just after McNulty had said last minute free-kick, last chance to City .............. harsher than the red card, (git) which is the 4th or 5th dodgy one we've had this season, don't these officials realise we are the new elite, and that penalties and red cards on our home ground are not allowed - always knew refs were slow on the uptake but this takes the biscuit.
Good to see when Manure are 1 down, and go down to 10 men that they capitulate, but we keep on fighting to the 'bitter' end, the wheels as i've said have turned.
Anyway good look to the manure, but watch out for the trend, 3-2, 1-6, 3-2 ............
Cheers

Not watched all of the incidents yet, will comment more I'm sure. Not goin to gripe about refs, they only get to see things once at normal speed and must sit watching match of the day saying "oh bugger" at howlers Enjoyed the second half immensely. Dakey, many teams go out in third round after previously winning it. we're still in 3 comps mate Kev, not missed your inane nonsense one bit. Glad you only chip in to agree with dakey every now and again. Tony, after the game we were saying the exact thing about them getting to the semis I hope it was blatant handball in the second half when I calm down and watch it again

Dave,
When you watch it again you will see that valencia is rugby tackled for a pen for 4-1, not given! and the handball you are refering to hit jones leg first and bounced up to his hand. not deliberate so not handball, simples. 3 derbies this year and two wins for the mighty reds, you really have to spend a bit more and try a lot harder mate.
Dakey
