Tony,
Cant remember Howard making a save, quietest night he has ever had. I bet that was the worst you have felt since you jumped on the bandwagon when Mr Mansours money arrived. If you think January was bad wait till the end of Feb, March and April, I will be spilling my beer down the barstool with excitement.

Dakey,
Minor blip , minor blip - never feel bad although there has been some dark moments with the relegation ups and downs that I have endured over the last 30 years. That said have really enjoyed the away trips to Bournmouth on a Tuesday night and a real favourite was Shrewsbury (most pubs in a square mile). The arrival of the oil money, (I think you also enjoy that!!) is just a bonus especially when we get great satisfaction knowing that any of you guys filling up with petrol are contributing (thank you by the way)
I think you will be spilling your beer but it won't be in excitement - make sure you dont drown your sorrows in it
Tony

Jay,
That 5 point has grown to 12!! Whats happened?? You're closer to Swansea in points than to Spurs.
Big month ahead for a few of the teams and for Spurs I think a good month will cement our position.
With next 4 games Pool (a), Newcastle (h), Arsenal (a) and Utd (h) it will be tough. Then again we're not the only ones with a few tough games in the next 4. Utd have to play Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs. Liverpool have Spurs, Utd, and Arsenal.
Going to be very interesting and no doubt someone will have a disaster of a month...hoping its not us!!

Dakey,
Great performance this afternoon that showcased many of the great qualities of our club. We played well and overcame the adversity of poor officials and bad luck which left us 3 down despite being the better side at that point. No other club in the Premier league would have fought back as we did and I thought we were even going to win it! It's a point won that could be vital at the end of the season. We're in a difficult phase of games but if we can come through the next 3 with a reasonable return we'll start to turn the screw - don't want to do it too early as the later we leave it to go past the blue moaners the better!

Chaddy,
On the penalty front, we have had eight penalty shouts in two games. The TV pundits agree that 6 were legitimate and 2 were not. We were awarded 4. That tells me we were hard done by and also tells me we are getting men in the box quite a lot.
Three games ago we were 3 points behind City, now after playing Arsenal and Chelsea away we are 2 points behind, that tells me we are doing quite alright, thank you and the title is in our own hands still.
After his act of treachery regarding Balotelli, we have now forgiven Mr Webb and he is allowed back into the O/T fold.
Cheers, Dakey

dakey were you refereeing that game yesterday. that performance from webb was enough to put any true football fan off the game for life. even with your rose tinted glasses you must admit he was atrocious. the sooner we have technology the better. football is becoming a joke sport

The penalty decisions are making a mockery of the game. Not specifically aiming this at Man Utds recent run of them.
If refs are going to give penalties for the slightest of touches (sometimes less than that) then why don't they give free kicks on the rest of the pitch.
Can't blame the refs for it all as so many players are cheating...call it simulating if you want but its cheating.
Until football comes out of the dark ages and uses technology to stamp this out every game is going to have a discussion about a contentious decision.
Have to say I was not unhappy about Utd's comeback!!

Shane,
If they had been able to use Technology we would have been awarded 6 penalties over the two games not 4, according to the TV pundits who analysed them,

George,
I'll have an apology thanks. Spurs fan so wasn't unhappy chelsea only got 1 point.
Dakey,
It may be Utd would have got more penalties. I'm more in favour of a panel reviewing the players actions after the games and dishing out cards for blatant diving and overreacting. Things like rolling around the ground crying like a baby after a tackle when the replays show little or no contact was made. And every incident in the box should be looked at to stamp out diving If players knew they could be issued a card or a sanction retrospectively by referees who had the TV footage they would have to be stupid to keep on doing it.
The other use would be to review the incidents in the box in real time but I'm not sure how that would affect the game. If players didn't cheat then the refs would get decisions correct more of the time. Maybe even half the time!!

I presume Dakey Lad that the obvious cheating by Ashley ( I say Ashley) Young was one of the 2 you think MAYBE you shouldnt have got!! How you dive forward when you claim you are being pulled back is beyond me!
Cahill got a boot to the ball with Wellbeck so none there either!
The 1st was maybe a penalty but the 2nd was Howard (Red through and through) Webb bringing a losing team back into the match!
How the F*%! can sky employ that useless biased turd Neville to comment on any football match especially 1 which involves the red scum is beyond me! I thought Keyes and the other scotch lump were bad but.....
Whatever, the Blues are yet again clear of the scum so lets all bat on to the next debate eh!

Even SourFace admitted he'd made a mistake in the derby when he left Webb on the bench ............ back to full strength yesterday tho and played his joker expertly in the second half

Who cares penalty or not we know were Webbs loyalty lies
Finally we gat a hatful spurs utd chelski liverpool drop points maybe a turning point of the season.
Dakey the glasses get redder and redder your defense is weak and that is clear for all to see at least I can admit our defence is crap. And you now have a keeper who cant catch a cross
With all the tough games coming the title could be over by the end of the month unless you tighten up.
Spurs looked poor tonight but did get the point and Bale missed a sitter how many million is he worth/??
Jay nice having a beer shame I missed the first 5 typical.
Role on next weak

Spurs did look well under par but we'll take the point away from home.
Was an atrocious game to watch and I have to admit I walked away for awhile after the first half...live pause what an invention.
I'm just glad we didn't have to go to the bench in a big way...not to sure who a couple of them were.
I am intrigued as to how you can blatantly kick someone in the stomach and receive a yellow considering the reds that have been getting dished out recently. He must have been a bit rusty after his lay-off and got the benefit of the doubt. To be fair Bale could have technically been sent off for a push so no real complaints.
Arsenal hitting form again and will be a big derby coming up. Plus the small matter of Utd and Chelsea games as well.

Well well, that was a nice weekend. A few beers with Neil (when he was there ) in the CDA club and The gooners score 7...lovely!
Shane
Again a draw about the best result for us I guess but the DIVE of the year for old LARGE LUGS. What was he thinking? I always thought well of him as player despite his a sp*rs player but that was riddiculous.
Have a good week
Jay

Dakey,
All the crap they're talking I think the Shitty fans are getting a bit worried. If they think you're biased they want to read their own posts - mind you it's not surprising they can't see anything else when their head is up their own arse!
By the way, we've had our fair share of crap decisions from Webby - he cost us a cup final against Chelski a couple of years ago which still rankles with me. I despair when I see he's in charge of one of our games.
How George can complain about penalties against Chelsea is beyond me - did he see the QPR game - hah hah. Mind you he's probably getting worried - Spurs way above them and the chasing pack closing in. No Europe for them next year - hah hah again!
Anyway, it's a long haul. Lets see if the ever growing group of Shitty fans can take the pressure or if they'll be crawling back under the stone from which they've only recently emerged.
