It only took 20 games and 11 years!!!!
Enjoy it Dan while you can.
We were terrible and got what we desreved. Good defending from the spuds and a lack of invention and desire from us almost all over the pitch. Best player on the night a 35 year old centre half showing the midfield how to tackle and win a ball in the air. On reflection looking out our team it must be true what Dakey said all along, a drop in quality must be the only reason we were in touch with the league up until last night. Even wenger said we are too immature. Spurs did not have too ask too many questions last night. Van Persie showed in 20 mins what we have been missing for nearly 6 months and if it wasn't for the keeper we'd of quite literally nicked it. Now we'll have to start another 11 year run but after a massive spend up.

Right, now the Gooners are out of the way, lets adopt some positive thinking. First, Fergie to stop tinkering and Officials to give what is obvious and in front of them. Second, Utd to win final four games and third Chelsea to draw their two difficult away games and we win it on goal difference, or better still, they lose one of them and we win it on points. There simple isnt it, I dont know what I was worried about.

First result of the 4 required for us in the bag. a nice EARLY goal from Scholesy to settle the nerves! Joking apart, I dont think the blues can have any complaints about the result. That is the thing about having an Italian Manager, he was happy with a point from the start and for a team who have been prolific in front of goal I could not believe how deep they sat for most of the game. I would like to have seen them more adventurous and the game would have been more of a spectacle for the fans, However a win is a win and now, COME ON YOU SPURS!!!! What do you think City Dave {Roy} my good buddy.

Got away with what? It might have been a late goal but it was well deserved and we have been robbed blind for weeks now, so its about time we got a bit of luck. It also does not matter what spurs or Liverpool do as far as the Gunners are concerned, because as soon as you get back in with a sniff you go and blow it again. How ironic will that be though, Liverpool to beat or draw with Chelsea to hand Utd the title that will overtake their 18. Do you think they would do it or would they rather throw the game. Now theres a question!

That was the best Spurs display I have ever seen, the one downside is that you should have turned the goal difference around for us in that one game, you must have had about 10 clear cut chances. I hope you are happy with the 6 points from your London neighbours, because Utd will show you that Old Trafford will be quite a different proposition with the title at stake. As well as you are playing dont forget that City were doing equally as well before we burst their little bubble yesterday. I do hope that we can beat you but you go on to clinch fourth ahead of our rich vulgar neighbours, which will really sicken them. I see Mancini has followed Benitez by promising to finish fourth, when will they ever learn!

Mr Dakey, I have seen us play better but the thing I like is we look solid as Bale drops in a second left back and Kaboul makes up a 3 at times & the right midfield fills in at right back.
Being a Spurs fan you never know what your gonna get, infuriates you at times and with in a matter of week its all good again, our problem is when teams just sit there and we have to attack, we've dropped so many points this season to teams that do this.
So I expect nothing more than your boys to park the bus in front of the stretford end next week

You two mustv'e been to church or somethin this weekend. What a set of results. All your christmas's at once????. I couldn't bring myself to read this for a good a day or so. Thought you'd be asking about me dakey mate!!!! I am totally glad now that we don't have to play you again for quite a few months. Totally p*****d off with losing in the 3rd or more, minute of fergie time. Dan's sentiments about Spurs could easily be said about our lot. Just when you think your well around the corner things again transpire. With 4 games left the season and Mancini's job is in our own hands. Win all the games and we are fourth. That said, we never(usually) beat Arsenal although, we have already done twice this season and Spurs tend to beat us in games where there is something to play for.
My nice happy way for the season to end!!!

Jeb beat Liverpools position in the league but don't get Rafa the sack
Dakey last point. You have not mentioned the 2 horrendous refereeing errors this week for a change. Both of which cost us dearly. Barry was scythed down through on goal for a stonewaller. Terry did not give a penalty away, specs for Dowd. Both results would have made my leg operation week a little easier.

Dave, mate,
I have not mentioned Barrys comical dive cos I was still debating how Bridge got away with a blatant handball for another penalty not given to us! One thing I found interesting though was that City must be the first home team in the history of the premier league to not have a shot on goal in open play for 70 minutes. what can you say about that?

Fellas,
I hate being proved right, but like I said last week, United at OT are a much more difficult proposition than Arsenal and Chelsea at home. I think old Harry will be happy with 6 points out of them three fixtures and fourth is definately still on for Spurs. As for Utd, beating the form teams City and Spurs comfortably without Ferdinand and Rooney just highlights why Chelsea will have to fight tooth and nail till the last minute of the season to wrestle our crown from us. The Premiership this season has been brilliantly entertaining from the top to the bottom and it is not over yet!

C'mon Dakey, dont let the season just fizzle out. Been some heavy comments on a couple the other posts. You lads need to chill out a bit more and learn the meaning of tolerance. Footie lads know exactly that. You give it out then you take it back.
With my team its very dangerous to look on the positives. However..................................... Its in our hands. Big game Dan, are you comin up for it? I hope we still have somethin to play for on sunday.
Wigan have had the strangest of seasons, they couldn't win at the bridge could they?

Hi Dave, not coming up unfortunatly but going to watch in a pub next to the ground, should be a cracker and could go either way.
Would take a draw but Spurs don't play that way so will be like a cup tie.

Hi Dave,
been stuck on this oil rig since weekend without internet access, just been given a password so here goes, We can just about combat bent officials, but cheating scum scouse captains are quite another matter! On the bright side with the world cup looming its nice to know that Gerrard has lost none of his passing ability. To be honest I am chuffed to bits that with our worst squad in 20 years we are still in with a small shout going into the last game and who knows? after all God is a Utd fan. We have to be given some credit for indomitable spirit, to take nine points out of nine from City and Sunderland away and Spurs at home is no mean feat and lets not forget Wigan have already beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool this season as well as shipping nine against Spurs, so it depends on which Wigan turns up. I fancy a score draw tonight for City and Tottenham to take that to the last game as well. Exciting stuff isnt it? Finally, please dont go Rafa, you are the best manager Utd have ever had!
