Well done Chaddy a good result away.... See you can do it as well!! We set the ball rolling last year of course! We have to now do a sensible job over in Naples and I sincerely hope our travelling support look after themselves because their fans are filth! Jay

Chaddy,
I will congratulate you on winning in Munich.... but you dont seriously think that you would have got anywhere near them if they had something to play for do you? You often talk about clowns etc, but I have just seen Pelligreedys interview and the buffoon didnt realise that at 3-2 city only needed one more goal to top the group. He actually said he would have brought Aguero on if City had got the fourth goal to try and get the other goal to top the group. Are there any professionals running that club? you just couldnt make that up, it wouldnt happen in sunday pub football.
The other 2 teams in your group are absolute crap, we won our difficult group unbeaten, in fact there are only 3 clubs out of the 32 unbeaten, us and the 2 Madrid clubs. Not bad for a manager with no CL experience and do you know something else... he knew exactly what was required tonight to top the group and as a professional manager that is the least you would expect!

Chaddy,
Your infectious likability is your main redeeming quality......NOT! Please explain in simple terms how no one at your club from the Manager down, including the back stabbing Kidd had no idea, in the Worlds top competition, of what was actually required to get through as group leaders. Dont say it doesnt matter as there is a very real chance now of pulling Barca or Madrid out of the hat and I would assume that a team that cant win at Cardiff, Stoke, Sunderland, Southhamton et al would find that a very daunting prospect.
Good luck tonight Jay and Neil, lets make it a full house for the PL.

"a team that cant win at Cardiff, Stoke, Sunderland, Southhamton et al"
But you forgot to mention that they CAN win at Munich LMFAO!!
You really are pretty clueless Dakey Lad, do you not think that we were trying to score as many goals as possible ya clown?? LOL
We smashed up in their own back yard while you muppets at The Swamp scraped another 1-0 win against a team that couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo!!!
I think you need to worry more about your own teams obvious failings in the PL and the inevitable knockout round of the CL before continuing on your mud slinging avoidance tactics>> LOL

Yes you are probably right there mate you were trying to score as many as possible once Bayern completely switched off because it was that easy. It was obvious you wanted to score more when your absolute muppet of a manager brought on Rodwell for Dzeko, yes you read it right RODWELL! and left Aguero on the bench because the thick T..T! didnt know he only needed one more goal to aoid going into the draw with Barca and Real Madrid! Now it doesnt need me to tell you that was one of the managerial cock ups of all time and people will be laughing about it for years to come. Unlike our manager who has rightly took some flack for the league campaign, but who deserves great credit for being one of only 3 managers to remain unbeaten in this year CL. No mean feat, so take a bow son.

Well,
Just seen the teams that Arsenal and City could face for failing to win their respective groups and it could well something that comes back to haunt them come February. Napoli got exactly what they deserved though, they go a goal up and the gunners go down to 10 men and they prefer to then knock it around the back four and hope that Dortmund draw rather than give it a real go themselves. Get back in the losers cup Rafa where you belong and good riddance to bad rubbish.

Weren't particularly impressed with that tonight. One thing is for sure if you don't play to win you won't win! Puzzling tactics and I'm hoping for more of an energetic attacking game on Saturday at silly o'clock!!!!! Jay

Jay,
You are correct mate, maybe Wenger had one eye on weekend, but you can only concentrate on the game you are playing in my opinion then move on to the next game. If you try and think ahead in football then it usually bites you in the backside. Mind you, the last time I watched an Arsenal team deliberately play for a draw (and its only ever been the once in recent Wenger times) was the 2004 FA cup final with zero attempts on goal in 120 minutes against Utd. The fact that you won it on pens maybe made him think you could do it again and nick a draw without expending too much energy. He might live to regret that down the line. Still, you have to play the top teams sometime to win it and there are no mugs in the last 16, its just that it has come a round earlier than it should have for Arsenal and City, but it wont be easy for the teams they draw either.

That's a very confident prediction Chaddy. I think it'll be tighter than that and I expect a draw but anything more will be a very nice early Christmas present!! Cheers Jay

Grandad Pelligrini won't be able to make it to midweek games for the rest of the season as his employers have signed him up for evening classes in maths and UEFA rules. Fortunately they got the senior citizens rate for the poor old boy. What a hilarious joke that bunch are!

Kev,
David Cameron has doubled the money to research a cure for dementia but I feel it will be too late for Pelligreedy. He doent know what day it is, I suppose that is some small consolation though, he has forgotten that he dropped a major clanger already. How he ever got a job as a football manager is beyond my comprehension.
On another topic, we were told that Arsenal would have to weather the fanatical Napoli fans in what has been described as a cauldren of a stadium...... There was nobody there! I have never seen an emptier ground.. oh wait, yes I have I thought I had tuned in to a City home game!
