More points dropped by Chelsea, I know Utd are dropping points also but we are in a dire injury crisis that we somehow have to ride out and still be in contention on the other side of it. Chelsea are dropping points nearly every week with virtually a full strength team and they are going to be weakened in January with the African Nations Cup. The one thing though that is crystal clear to me is if Villa, City, Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool or anyone else for that matter do not mount a serious attempt on the title this year, then they never will!
Cheers, Dakey

Jay05,
I hate to rain on your parade, my friend, but Arsenal have done nothing different this year than the previous 4 years. You continue to play attractive football, enjoy some spectacular wins and generally lose the games that matter. The only reason that you are in closer contention this season is that, for a number of reasons, United and Chelsea have come down to your level not the other way round. You may well take advantage of this, but it is certainly nothing to celebrate, because when those two teams eventually get their act back together then you will be despatched back into the pack. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Cheers Dakey

I don't disagree. Utd and Chelski have had it there way for a couple of seasons but we have had to compete with a massive disadvantage financially up until now. We'll see how it all ends up in May but with Chelski losing at least four key players in January and Utd not firing properly for what ever reasons you may come up with, we can only do what we can against our competetion and so far no disrespect i don't think much of it this year. Consistancy will as always be the key and not the one off games. It's half time and we're more than in touch!
All the best
Jay

In the words of a Norwegian commentator
"Sir Alex Ferguson, Eric Cantona, Terry Christian, Angus Deayton, Eamon Holmes, Ronnie Irani, Andy Goldstein, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney, Gary Neville, Skell, Skells Son, Dakey. Your boys took a hell of a beating."
Marching on Together
Leeds Leeds Leeds
We've been a long way down but at last we have something to enjoy and on their own middin as well.
Happy Days

Jonew,
Enjoy the moment, your team deserved it, from our point of view at least this year we have got the disappointment out of the way early. I remember last year when we fans were dreaming of a trip to wembley among other things and Sir Alex played a reserve team in the semis against Everton and out we went. At least this time he fielded a strong side, but we ended up second best on the day. That is why the FA Cup is still a magical trophy. Best of luck in the next round. ( see, I am not that biased that I cannot see! )

Thanks Guys,
It appears the general consensus is we deserved to win and we even survived the 5 that then became 6 mins of Fergie time that was added. I've waited 29 years for today so wasn't going to let it go quietly, it may not even happen again in my lifetime.
Right, who's next, looks like Dan and his boys from the lane who just happen to have a few ex Leeds in their side. lennon, Woody n Keane will desparate to play in that one. I can't see lightening striking twice but I'm sure we'll go there and have a go. So let's see what happens.
I'm sure all you fans of Prem clubs, whilst not liking Leeds would all much rather we came to town than the likes of Wigan, Hull, Stoke,Bolton, Blackburn etc. We always make for a good atmosphere and despite the odd lunatic or two are mainly there to have a good craic.
Here's hoping we can get back there soon.
I Still can't stop smiling, enjoy your football, Happy days.
Simon

Fellas,
Right, I have just watched the worst Man Utd team we have had since 1990, when Fergie first started a winning streak that has seen us dominate English football by and large for 20 years. We were missing both centre halves and the Goalkeeper as has been the case for most of the season so far and the current form team, Birmingham, could not beat us on their own ground in adverse conditions. What does that say about the standard of the league this season? We are definately there for the taking, but we could well go on to win it because nobody seems good enough to take advantage.
That is my opinion, what do you all think?
Cheers Dakey

Ant &Andi,
As good as Chelsea were yesterday and lets face it they are capable on occasions of doing that to anyone, without any help from the opposition, but have you ever seen a more abject, spineless performance from any team in recent history than the one your team put in yesterday? Not one single player broke into anything resembleing anything like a sprint or a sweat and I find it hard to believe that a team managed by Steve Bruce would throw in the towel like that right from the start. On that performance you must be thankful for early season points gained as otherwise you would be a nailed on certainty for relegation. You must be mortified. I would be interested to know what you think of it.
Cheers Dakey

dakey, pete
got to agree with you both absolutely spineless, no character no nothing,
bruce said he had no excuses,
10 games in i thought he was the bees knees, now i realise he has cut the squad down to something that we just cant live with, need to get the injuries sorted or we are doomed, no win in 8 games = relegation fodder, and i would hate to pass those scum tw@ts on the way down,
and i thought rafa was ok
