Spurs will feel robbed at only getting a point!
It was like the Alamo all over again with De Gonad stopping shots with all but his hands and his eyes shut! Luckiest keeper I've seen bar none!
At leasy Shmeichel had his eyes open and deliberately held his arms and legs out to stop shots!!! LMFAO

Fellas,
When the mad Russian sacked an extremely popular and successful manager in Di Matteo and replaced him with the hapless Rafa, I think all of us who are not Chelsea fans realised we were in for a spell of unbridled enjoyment at their expense and my o my they have not let us down. I was happy that they slipped miles behind in the league, slumped out of the CL and failed miserably to win the World Club Cup ending with the players crying on the pitch. That would have done me fine, but the added bonus of over 3 hours football against the mighty Swansea without a sniff of a goal and topped off by the disgraceful sight of their star signing sticking the boot into a young ballboy while he was lay defenceless on the floor just about puts the top hat on it. Please, Please Roman dont sack him yet it is much too entertaining for the rest of us. He was bad at Liverpool, but he has taken it on at Chelsea to a new level altogether, much more of this and he can change his name by deed poll to Mancini!

Racists, liars and now child beaters. It's hard to see what they'll do next to sink even lower. They couldn't even get the ball off the Swansea ball boy never mind the team. We know what you are,

You couldnt make that up ! Kev manure double standards post is unbelievable -lol.. firstly the so called kid is 17 and a swansea directors son!. he also tweeted before the game what he would do. thirdly the player tried to kick the ball and it was a soft touch not a king flykick for fs sake!!
Now lets go back to cantona at palace. was he trying to kick the bal when he took a flying kung foo kick into the crowd- youve gotta laugh or youll cry!
And maybe rio when he kicked a lady steward in the chelsea tunnel. Short memories those manure fans have-lol!

George,
While I do not condone Cantonas actions, he was banned by Utd prior to his FA hearing, then banned by the FA for EIGHT MONTHS for attacking a THUG who was verbally insulting his mother. I wonder then on that basis will we see Chelsea banning Hazard prior to a hefty extra ban by the FA for blatently kicking a young boy in the ribs!! I will watch this space.
However, sickening as the unprovked assault was, I would much prefer to debate the absolute mess your club are in both on and off the field of play and are you going to revert to type and try to buy your way out of it. Mind you it would be better off waiting for next season with a new manager as you only have the FA cup to go for if you dont include the losers Europa league that no one gives a toss about.
Cheers, Dakey

It's all just a sad reflection of where the money and obsession with greed is taking the game. Well done Swansea and Bradford for striking a blow for our clubs who are run on a fair financial footing!

Kev,
When you havnt got a sugar daddy to bank roll you, isnt it gratifying to watch an absolute master dabble in the transfer market. On the one hand we got critisised for paying 'over the odds' for a player coming up 29 who had never won anything in 8 years playing for his club and country. We have seen how, with the extra quality service ffrom a squad of winners that he has taken his undoubted talent on to another level and no one is mentioning the fee now. On the other hand, the master has quietly continued his policy of identifying promising young talent, and once purchased nurture that talent into first team squad level to the long term benefit of the club.
Our latest young protegy, the Chilean boy, Henriquez scored a lovely goal last week for Wigan where he has gone on loan and with the imminent signing of Zaha from Palace and the great man personally scouting Celtics young black 'Roy Keane' whoose name I cannot spell prior to making a bid, it must be soul destroying for our rivals to watch this endless conveyor belt of talent queueing up at the theatre of dreams which gives those rivals no light at the end of a very long and red tunnel.

difference is dakey he didnt intend to kick the young man
and dont forget - hazard is 22 the lad was 17, and not much difference in size than a playground spat. hazard is hardly a large thug kicking a 6 yo. so lets be realistic. a bit like the realistic fact you aint won a trophy for ages-lol
cantona on the other hand was trying to kick different kinds of balls-lol

How you can compare Cantona with Hazard beggars belief! With that karate kick into the crowd he narrowly missed a female fan, and for those of you who are interested the fan who verbally assaulted him was banned for life by Crystal Palace. I personally think Eric was lucky to get off so lightly. Also, he shouldn't have gone anywhere near the crowd, he'd been sent off and should have gone straight down the tunnel! I do not condone Hazard's actions, but it didn't look deliberate to me, and he's paid the price with a red card. Having said that congratulations to both Swansea and Bradford.

Lynn,
Eric was making his way around to the tunnel and suffered dogs abuse all the way, he snapped when extremely vulgar and derogatory remarks were made from a few yards away about his mother and he reacted and was severely punished for it. I dont care if I was a footballer or the pope if someone had degraded my mother in the same way I would have done a lot worse than Eric did. On the subject of Hazard, if that kid was 17 then I am 21, he is not a day over 14 and it was a DELIBERATE kick to the lads ribs not the ball when he was lay on the floor, take the blinkers off George and smell the treble.... Sorry I mean coffee.
Anyway Lynn.... who let you out of the kitchin to go on the computer?

You cheeky bugger! You obviously don't know me that well as I don't cook! Hubby and youngest daughter have that privilege! I also only use the computer when I'm at work!
As to the abuse, what a load of codswallop! Crystal Palace are one of the most well behaved fans in the country; my hubby actually told me off once for swearing at a match! Also, it was blown up out of all proportion, you can blame the media for that!
Now, I'm off to answer the switchboard, can't keep the callers waiting!

Lynn,
They were not well behaved that night, picking on poor little Eric like that!
Just read on Sky sports news that the FA are going to look again at the Hazard assault last night.... Do you think it could be to punish the Ball Boy George for hurting Hazards toe with his ribs? Usually when these things are reviewed it is to increase the penalty, but I may be wrong lets wait and see.

On a serious note - well done Swansea and Bradford! Hope you have a great day out at Wembley!
Hazard shouldn't have done what he did but that should be the end of it. A three match ban is fair enough.
On a more serious note - is that dirty so and so Ramires going to continue to be allowed to stand on opponents feet unchecked? It cost Arsenal a goal last weekend and it looked very painful for that Swansea lad last night. If he gets his tackles in any later he'll be lucky to make kick off. He really is a nasty piece of work - far worse than Hazard.
Looks like Rafa may keep the job through default which would be great. He needs to stay in the English game as he adds such comedy value. A double act with Mancini could be on the cards?

Well then,
According to George and Lynn, It wasnt a serious offence, in fact Lynn said it wasnt deliberate and George... well George is George and would defend anything short of murder that a chelsea player gets up to.
The facts are that the Referee and Assistant deemed it serious enough to show the red card..... this punishment is obviously not enough for the FA as they have charged Hazard with violent conduct, which begs the question, what offence did the referee actually send him off for if it wasnt violent conduct? then finally the offence was actually so serious that the local constabulary now want to get involved! Well George it seems that sticking the boot into a young boys ribs isnt the meaningless chuckle you thought it was.

It seems that we are going to have to rely on the FA to come up with an appropriate punishment as I see the police have decided to leave it to the football authorities. I agree in general to keeping the police out of football matters but I have heard this morning that they are going to charge the entire Chelsea and City squads with the very serious charge of impersonating proffesional footballers!
They will never make that one stick!!
FA cup weekend always has a nice buzz to it but especially so this weekend as the morally bereft crew are drinking in the last chance saloon and for once there is absolutely nothing, including throwing money at it like confetti, that their over rich owners can do about it.
Enjoy.

You are correct, Mourinho is a nutter and a brilliant manager, he would get away with those antics at Chelsea and City because they dont care about civilised behaviour. Whether he would ever get a chance at decent proper clubs like UTD, Arsenal, Spurs I very much doubt it.
FA Cup football usually shows up all that is best about our game, blood and thunder british bulldog spirit etc..... That what I have just watched is not for me, They are a horrible, bitty, niggling, long ball team who, although they work hard, cannot string more than 4 passes together.......... mind you, Stoke were not much better!!!!
