Neil,
How dare you accuse me of a Utd bias! I seem to remember this time last year that it was Chelsea who were going to walk it after a easy start saw them steamroll over the opposition, City look to be made of sterner stuff, but again they have had an easy start. I will judge it in early January when they have played their fair share of the top teams. Our form at the moment is so predictable, we like City started like a house on fire but everyone including Fergie were warning we were conceding too many chances. After City took us apart anyone with a brain could see that we would revert to a duller more resolute style and that style has seen us keep 4 clean sheets. After the break you will see a return to a more adventurous system that will see us top the league again by mid January. (make a note of that comment fellas as I will be reminding you of it in due course)
What a brilliant day that must have been for true Mancunian Wes Brown. To score the winner for Utd on Fergies 25th anniversary must have been one of the proudest moments of his career, well done son take a bow!
Cheers, dakey

Hey boys,
Predictable weekend, everyone quite reserved after the mid week fixtures, Arsenal closing the gap on the also rans.
City maintain the momentum, beating all put in front of them!
Off to both the England games next week as I still need my football fix!!
Have a good week
Tony

Back in work ughh!
Had a great weekend in Condado again. Thanks Neil for your hospitality. Great service in the bar and excellent viewing area for the City game.
Good to meet you Paul (pfrost) look out for you in Naples. Paul (not smooth) enjoy yourelf mate, being there now most of the time Lucky sod
Ged the Red, helped me get my customary sore head on the last night lol
We've still had an easy start Dakey???. I know one very very very easy game we had that we're all gutted about because of our horrendous finishing. We've broken 6 premiership beginning of season records but that game would have been the sweetest at at least an eleven goal away win. Your twaddle shows no signs of rescinding. Keep watching and enjoying.
George thanks again so much. Great company mate. You'd better go and find Neil, he's desperate to see you and thirsty ha ha.

Dave, mate,
"Back in work ughh!" Let me just educate you a little. The poor souls that you have grafting in your modern day 'workhouse' for all hours for a pittance is what is known as work, not you dropping in every couple of weeks just to see how things are going and to have a brew with Cob the bluenose in between your globehopping. Just think all those years ago when you were a contract engineer at Weirs, where would you be now if I hadnt covered your back all the time when you knew next to nothing! Ah, those were the days mate.
Not getting into a pissing contest over the footie, I have nailed my colours to the mast, we will be top by mid January, mark my words!
Cheers, Dakey

Hello boys & girls
Whilst we've all downed tools now for a couple of weeks would you mind doing all of us a favour and sign the on line pettion to get the pitches at condado sorted out. As you all know they're totally ruined at the moment and are very dangerous to play on. They look awful and are in not in keeping with what we have at Condado. Last year a lad ended up in hospital because the surfaces were so bad.
Here's the link

Hi guys just had an email from Milenium saying that IRM have now agreed to allow Milenium to maintain and keep the pitches under their remit. This is fantastic news. Maybe they got wind of the petition (i doubt it) but either way who cares it good news for all of us!!

Dave and fellow bitters
Just found this interesting table on Wikepedia about Eastlands since City took it over. I think it bears out what I have been banging on about for ages. It will be interesting to hear you trying to squirm out of whats blindingly obvious. Still, I would like to hear it anyway
Cheers, Dakey
Ps things are getting a bit too quiet for my liking so I thought I would get the juices flowing again.

So this now means if I look at Utd this eason they will have a 100% capacity all season and not say 73400 thou against Stoke then. Stats are great but look at your own sometimes.
Dave big week coming up think you were the only team with 22 plus players on international duty... lol
Owen out till xmas lol will we notice.
After the mass of internationals who gets the early sat kick off Arsenal!!!!! sorry sorry sorry had a dakey moment and moaned about nothing.
Jay will we settle for any place as long as its above Spurs???? could not face life if they finished above us.
neil
Please can all e-mail their 7th and 8th teams for the tiebreaker if they have not already and I have corrected a few mistacks made in last list.
See you all soon out on Friday

George,
Now that every team and its dog is walloping you, you dont want to bet on Chelsea anymore, you have jumped on the bitters bandwagon. If you want to back them rather than your own team, I am up for it, but I am not stupid. Like I offered you last year give me the bookies odds of 15/8 which I have just lumped on and you can back them otherwise I will just fleece the bookies instead.
More worrying for you is that although City are in the ascendancy period of 'sugar daddyism' you are in the declining period made worse by the fact yours is about to jump ship upset by your fans refusal to sell him the ground. Now, where is that going to leave you with no artificial financial crutch to lean on. No wonder you are changing your allegiance to City.
Cheers, Dakey
