Dave No consolation mate we were abismal too! The lot we lost to tonight beat Dortmund at the weekend and they're supposed to be mustard!! Which is worrying. Them in and out trips are great fun but proper knacker you!! Have a safe trip home.

What a great couple of nights in the Clover!
Firstly had to put up with going a couple down and a few smiley faces around me. Included a comment of "Good" from some old Celtic boy who asked me to confirm the score as he couldn't believe it either! How quickly people forget the steel and indomitable spirit that Fergie builds into all his teams! So let's just say I enjoyed it when we pop three in for a win, the racist club get stuffed and then - Barce stick one in at the end to beat Celtic!!! Oh how expressions change...
Next, last night. City outplayed but go one up. Then for all those City travellers the best sight in Amsterdam - the ball hitting the back of your net three times and should have been more. Lots more grumpy faces around the Clover - why was I the only one with a happy face? The Dortmund result was probably the worst for City too so double trouble for Manky's boys. As for the Gooners - just not up to it but there are some good teams around this year and they should still qualify.
Anyway, happy days

Absolutely pathetic display, mind you it has been the same all year but this time you didnt get away with it. Just watch those renowned 'team players' Tevez and Balotelli rally round the cause now after being left out! NOT!!. If Chelsea and City are the best we have to offer then we are in serious trouble. Arsenal were poor Jay, but you are still in a good position and your threadbare squad just cannot absorb that many injuries to key players, unlike the other two who have players seeping out of every nook and cranny but will probably only end up in the Europa league if they buck their ideas up.

No jay, it is the english disease that we like to knock down all our winners. liverpool were hated by everyone when they always won everything. now no one cares about them. same with arsenal. but chelsea are one of the most successful clubs in england over the last 10 years and unfortunately with that teritory comes jealousy. it has started to happen with man city too. dont worry though jay it will never happen to your lot again for a while whilst your lovely french manager continues to pocket his dividends.

Speaking as a Utd fan who has no time for Liverpool, I dont remember them ever being universally hated and I can say the same about the Gunners. Utd have been disliked out of sheer jealousy because of our dominance domestically, but the hatred festering for Chelsea and Man City is beyond anything that has transpired before simply due to the way in which the relative success has come about. Nobody has any respect for anyone who has just been handed everything on a silver platter without having to earn it and that is true of life in general. The absolutely vile people you employ as players only compounds the dislike. So just enjoy it while you can and dont bother trying to win friends and influence people as a club, because you are both hated with a passion by almost everybody and thats just the way it is until you sink back into oblivion where you belong.

Watching the previously reported crap Ajax rip you to peices the other night Chaddy, I bet they were laughing in Sunderland as well as practically every other City in the country incuding 3/4 of Manchester! Look on the bright side mate, at least this year you wont be able to embarass yourselves again in the europa league....... as you have to finish 3rd to qualify for it and even that is beyond your set of overpaid muppets. Enjoy the next 4 months bumping along the bottom of your CL group. They say 10 points is enough to qualify for the knockout stages, hey, if we combine our 9 points with your 1 point we will have enough for one of us to go through!

As you know I always try to be objective and unbiased, but are the bitters not the worst defending champions you have ever seen in your life? The most expensive squad by a million miles ever assembled and totally outplayed by little Swansea who must be on the way home wondering how they ever lost that match this evening.
We had Joe Hart time wasting with half an hour to go, Mancini brings on the hapless Lescott for Aguero trying to hang on and this is the champions at home to mighty SWANSEA!! but the biggest laugh of all was the announcer thanking the crowd of over 46,000 for their support when even Stevie Wonder could see there was no more than 35,000 in the poxy little rented ground. So it would appear that after the honeymoon period even the so called loyal blue mooners cant be bothered to turn up for the dross that is being served up. I never thought I would say it but I was praying the football would finish and strictly come dancing would start.
Thank god we have a couple of games tomorrow to whet the appetite and restore our faith in football.
Jay, Nice to see Wilshire back on the field, should give you a welcome boost just when you need it.
