It took me about 2 minutes to find that post. As I always suspected no matter what anyone says, on here there are confirmed EU SSR remainers. Even if it was found that the EU SSR had fiddled everyone out of a trillion euros, they would still vote to stay in.

Obviously the remoan camp cannot be trusted to keep their word and have no honour, and will not respect the majority decision. All they keep harping on about is "what does Brexit mean",  hoping that TM will deal her hand early, thus scuppering Brexit.

I know that quite a few older members will agree with the following. As I stupidly fell for the Common Trading Maket lie it is only fair and honourable for me to do my bit to put things right, so that is what I did, the moral to this is to never give away your freedom for the promise of jam tomorrow

Heres another one from a EU SSR supporter posted May 24th

MF

If Brexit happens which I doubt, I shall return to this thread in six months time and say I told you so. I shall enjoy saying to you all that your lack of confidence, trust and cynicism towards your elected leaders landed you in the mess you find yourselves in.

Then truly you will only have yourselves to blame and no one else.

Well the 6 months have been and gone.........

Fact. Did a bet with Nigel that I could make a comment this morning that did not attack anyone, did not incite anyone, did not create any controversy and that comment would remain the dominate theme for the day and get at least five responses.  Thank you all for making me £150 richer!

Looks like your still getting facts and fantasy mixed up PP.   but, it's allowed mate, it's only a forum.

We wont solve anything on here, so no point in getting a witch hunt going.    Or is it a Spanish Inquisition ha ha.

“The rise of naked partisanship, increasing economic and regional stratification, the splintering of our media into a channel for every taste – all this makes this great sorting seem natural, even inevitable. And increasingly we become so secure in our bubbles that we accept only information, whether true or not, that fits our opinions, instead of basing our opinions on the evidence that’s out there.”

Jarvi,

You asked why I will not honour my position as stated in my post of June 24th.  I believe I have.  I did not vote to Leave.  I have stated on numerous occasions that I accept that Brexit has won.  That does not mean that I am required or expected to suddenly get on the Brexit bandwagon and support the views that some people used to vote to exit.  Why?  Because you only need to look at some of the reasons that Brexiters have stated as their reasons for Brexit and what they expect to achieve.  For example:

Jarvi said: I have written to David Davis. I have asked him to make certain that all the cry babies who lost, but won't accept it, who don't believe in democracy, and keep running our great country down should not be allowed back into the UK ever.

Hugh said: Your opinions are completely INVALID one sided you are only frightened because you know 3 million will be pushed out of the UK back to the continent and then more will only get to France and then think hey we can’t get into the UK let’s stay here.

The idea that Brexit means we are going to expel 3 million EU immigrants and that it would be a good thing is completely unpalatable to me.  The idea that people who argue against Brexit should be expelled from the country because their voice is not your voice is such a massive infringement on basic human rights that I must out of decency rail against it and hold the Government to account to make sure that does not happen…ever.

Hugh said: If you need a car BUY a car from the Japs or the Chinks they are reliable them Hyundais

Be honest, all of us cringed at that comment.

Tteedd said: The remoaners (not by any means the majority of the remainers) just want to throw spanners in the works and tell us it is all too difficult. The main Brexiteers believe differently. We won't know until they bring, or start to bring, results back to parliament.

I am worried about just leaving it to chance and finding out too late that what is being brought back to Parliament is bad for the UK.  That is why I want to know what we plan to do before we do it.

Windtalker said: Perrypower1 the majority of the MPs that are for the remain camp, have been voted in by a constituency that voted OUT this pile of shit MPs should be ashamed and should stand down ,they are nothing more than fraudulent bastards that do not want to represent the will of the people that put them in power .

Remainers are not entitled to a voice and if they use one they are a pile of shit bastards apparently.

I do applaud the Brexiteers who voted with the best interests of the UK at heart even though I do not agree with them, they, like me, are entitled to their viewpoint.  I refuse to acknowledge any legitimacy of those who voted to leave based on the comments above and will fight on against them.

Huge Jardon - I have never posted I was leaving the forum that was some other disgruntled soul.

The U.K.’s financial industry began 2017 as it finished 2016, with warnings that a botched Brexit would create havoc.

London Stock Exchange Chief Executive Officer Xavier Rolet led the charge on Tuesday by telling lawmakers a disorderly split between the U.K. and European Union could cost 232,000 jobs in London alone if the UK lost its Euro clearing services.

He again called for a “grandfathering” of current rules to allow markets and companies up to three years to adjust to the break-up and adapt to the new trade relationship. His point was echoed by HSBC Chairman Douglas Flint and Elizabeth Corley of Allianz Global Investors.

Flint spoke of playing “Jenga,” a game in which players remove wooden bricks from a tower until it collapses.

“All of us are struggling with what we call Jenga,” he said. “You don’t know if you pull one brick out what will happen.”

A paper from the House of Commons library this week highlighted the importance of British finace to the U.K. and EU economies. It estimated the industry and related business services sold about £50 billion-worth of services to other EU members in 2015.

Prime Minister Theresa May has acknowledged there may need to be an “implementation phase.” Elsewhere in Parliament on Tuesday, Brexit Minister David Jones said the City of London was at the top of the list when the government begins talks, and Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson promised its status as a financial hub would remain intact.

Perrypower1 Never mind when the UK comes out of the so called EU ,the Brexiteers will carry on paying their Tax to keep the likes of you over in Spain .but don't forget when you UK pension won't buy you a tin of beans when inflation goes through the roof in Spain you can always pack your bags and come back the UK and get looked after at the UK Tax payers expence in one of our OAP home's, that's if we can find you a bed  as these day's our OAP homes are overloaded with OAPs from the EU

Just one question, windtalker. Why do you just persist in making things up? Like the 90% of immigrants to UK are from the EU. And now this load of rubbish about EU OAPs filling up care homes in UK. Could you at least provide some type of link to your assertions to prove them? Probably not because you know they just aren't true. Bit like your "inflation in Spain" comment. I think you have the wrong country there.

And your ever so stupid comment of "at UK taxpayers expense". Don't pause to consider for one moment that many of those who do live in Spain have been UK taxpayers all their life and many still pay lots of taxes to the UK as well.

Bobable you should also take a leaf out of your own book an stop trying to convince people that everything in  Spain is better than the UK ,it's up to you if want you love everything Spanish ,so buy yourself a donkey and change your name to Manuel just stop lying by telling people that electric and so forth is cheaper in Spain than the UK The standing charge's for electric is 3 times higher in Spain and the price per KW is also more expensive  ,and as far as my quote on OAPs from the EU taking up beds in NHS and the OAP Homes in the UK are concerned, l am only repeating what I have read so stop Trolling and get a life.or you could start by being truthful.

Spain still has almost 30% unemployment 10 years after the financial crash /The UK got over the financial crash like water of a ducks back and even helped out the P.I..G.S of the EU by giving them hand outs that was not appreciated by the EU.when the UK no longer has to make contributions to the EU inflation in country's like Spain will start to rise so you and the likes of you should start to make provision for your return to the UK.
