Very strange... 200 jobs lost and its a secret. I think if 200 people had lost their jobs near where I live everyone would know about it.

I think Tadd and the perrypower geezer are the same person, or neighbours or something.
Easy to wind up, no substance or truth about their comments, and hate the UK.
Probably the very reason the EU is heading for a fall, and the Italian job was just a film eh. (Good one though).

brian, did you mean you are or you're or ??? because your message does not make sense.
Tadd, it is impossible to talk sense with this lot. They demand proof but never offer any, the lot of them are fake news specialists; in denial about the fact that Brexit is already failing. The truth is I do not believe any of them are actually British. Most likely from a country trying to under mine the UK.

Perry, to quote our French frieds you are an Agent Provocateur, and if Tadds claims had any substance he would have no hesitation in naming the company involved. If anyone is a Fake News specialist it is Tadd.

100% agree most are very single minded and don't respect anyone's points of view and resort to name calling
They gang up on posters and sadly this forum is losing posters
A mere handful of single minded brexiters spool things for many
Robert which French friends exactly

" it's been nearly 50 years since the Gibraltar people gave an even bigger majority than that to stay with the UK and not come under Spanish rule. There has been no requirement for a vote since then and the Spanish have not raised the subject loudly in that legal context. "
Surely that should read 15?

Actually Tteedd Walkers crisps are known and marketed as Lays crisps, though potato crisp would be called crocante di patate, and potato crisps would be patatine. Only the Italians.

If it is Walkers
Walkers Crips are now owned by Lay's (co-incidently Frito Lay's has 50,000 employees) which in turn is a subsidiary of Pepsico, which is a US company.

Wikipedia
"The Government of Gibraltar then decided to hold its own referendum on the 7th November 2002 regarding the proposal of shared sovereignty with Spain, which it strongly opposed. This pre-empted any referendum planned to be held after the negotiations between the UK and Spain had concluded. Jack Straw described the Gibraltar referendum as "eccentric", and the UK's Foreign Office announced it would not recognize its results.["
The result was a rejection of the proposal, to give Spain joint sovereignty, by a landslide majority, with only just over one per cent of the electorate in favour.

So was there a referendum or not? Not sure what that says.
If you look up referendum? Start around 1967 I think it should come up with an actual organised sovereignty vote though.
Ah sorry, a referendum on a shared sovereignty. Beg your pardon. Looks an even more conclusive result than 1967 eh. Wow.
