Europe by bringing vito over territory established since 1726

Did they have an 'advisory' referendum? does even 99.8% not swing it?

"Support for Brexit has soared as Theresa May triggered Article 50, kick-starting Britain’s exit from the European Union.   While the support was split 52 per cent - 48 per cent in favour of leaving in the referendum, support for going ahead with Brexit is now significantly higher, YouGov figures suggest.  Compared with the 52 per cent who voted Leave last year, the data reveals that 69 per cent now say Britain's divorce from the EU should go ahead.

Those who do not support Britain leaving the EU, and say the Government should ignore the result of the referendum or seek to overturn it, make up just 21 per cent of those surveyed.

And 25 per cent of people voted Remain but now feel that the Government should carry out the process in the wake of the referendum result."

It comes as no surprise that many in the UK that voted to remain in the referendum have now switched over to the leave camp ....l think you can put this down to the way the EU is conducting itself with making unworkable demands that resemble that of   a dictatorship ....I just hope the good people of Scotland are taking note on how the EU bloc is a threat to democracy.

Jarvi

It does not surprise me as most remainers (including me ) accept the result but many want a vote on the final deal and rightly so as the referendum was not clear on what it means other than leave. So any deal that has any compromises in or thinks like staying in single market customs union freedom of movement etc should be put to a vote by the people

Tadd1966 what you asking for is impossible to conduct as everybody including my self have different views ...that is basically why it was a straight forward IN or OUT referendum vote ..... Believe me the crap has not hit the fan yet you and people like you will soon  change your minds about the EU Bloc when they start making. demands and Threats and try to destabilize the economy of the UK just like a dictatorship does in a third world country ....you will see this happening very soon and I am sure that when it does you will be waving a  Union Jack and not a EU flag.

It will be put to a vote in the house of commons, they are elected representatives and if they do not do what we want we can vote them out. (Unlike the EU). There will be no vote for the people, that has already happened, and is unlikely to happen again in my lifetime.

Sorry but as a firm supporter of teh EU I hope they take a strong stand against the UK and focus on the needs of the EU and its citizens first anf foremost - I will be doing everything I can to maintain mine andmy families EU citizenship and I have a number of options

The UK are arrogant bullies who think they are something special - they are not, have nothing special to offer and the UK stops needing to live in the past as I have said many tiems before

The Uk wil suffer economically and internally as the UK breaks up - very sad but IMO very true and real.

Only Thursday I heard of an Italian owned company who have closed down a UK division, announced a first wave of redundancies (approx 200), transferred 4 major contracts (in excees of €50M) to Italy and all current bids as of Monday are now being fronted from Italy HQ by Italian staff not UK where they are now

I do agree with windtalker.

The EU dictatorship will try and make our life a misery through their unbelievable beurocracy and hard line tactics.

The UK will have to stand firm and fair during these dealings and having issues inside our own borders will be very distracting I reckon.

Tadd1966 the Italians are free to do what ever they like ..If they want to move production over to Italy that's fine ,as long as they don't expect the people in the UK that they have just shit on to buy their products.. And you my friend ( if you are British )should be ashamed of yourself with that statement you just made how long is it going to take for people like you to own up to and say I got it wrong .and how dare you condone any attempt by the EU to bring down a Democratic Country.because they do not agree with the policymakers over in Brussels's.

I think tadd is an EU advisor who presents the reasoning face of these people perfectly.

Say we are part of a peaceful, social and partnership project.  But if we disagree with anyone we will try and destroy them.

Bit like hotel California.  You can check out any time you want but you can never leave.

Good riddance to the Italians (who are probably using Brexit as an excuse) and good riddance to anyone who puts an undemocratic superstate above their country.

Tadd

I sure as hell hope you have applied for citizenship of another country as you obviously have not pretence to being British.

Every nation in Europe can be arrogant and selfish, just try negotiating with the Spanish, it's generally their way and no one else matters.

As for following EU directives, well that's for the Brits and anyone who cares.

Wake up and smell the cofree

The uk will suffer and if i am wrong I will hold my hand up but the reality is the uk has nothing to offer no uk.owned manufacturing or industry

As for hugh_ man's shouting a bit childish really so ask who is 2 years old and calling people names supports that

Hate coffee.    Tea for me all the way.   And some local ales, and I think we will have to start making Morgan and TVR sports cars, washing machines, push bikes, and then look at making some of the things we also used to make.

Our F1 expertise in the midlands and now in Yorkshire with mclaren is thriving and rules the world in technology.  I am amazed st the smaller factories around me who make and provide the parts for machinery all over the globe, glass making machines, toolmaking, crickey I'm blown away with our capabilities Tadd.   When we break free we can soar like an eagle, promise you that.

We also try and be the best in the world at popular music (only America has any competition with that one), and enjoy ourselves instead of being worried about other bullies trying to order us around.

your very welcome to your own Spanish hideaway Tadd, and i trust you respect your Eastern European member neighbours in the freezing cold when your thinking of how cosy it's going to be when we are gone and the aid and payment stops.

The social experiment is not going a lot farther I don't think.
